Srinagar, July 30 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has expressed grave concern over the increasing highhandedness of the Indian state by employing its agencies and armed forces personnel as an aggressive and repressive measure against unarmed civilians including pro-freedom leaders and activists.

The APHC in a statement issued in Srinagar, today, strongly condemned the arrest spree in Sopore, Baramulla, Pulwama, Budgam, Srinagar and Islamabad areas. It said more than 50 civilians including Rashid Nazeer, Waheed Khan, Aabid Khan and Nazeer Ahmad Khan have been arrested from Islamabad district. It said these brutal actions cannot deter the Kashmiri people from supporting the ongoing freedom movement. »

Mirwaiz vows to resist move against mosques

Srinagar, July 30 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred two Kashmiri youth in Bijbehara area of Islamabad district, today.

The troops martyred the youth during a cordon and search operation in Kutto area of Bijbehara. One of the martyred youth was identified as Fayaz Panzoo. The operation continued till last reports came in. The occupation authorities have snapped mobile internet services in the district. »

Jammu, July 30 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir Freedom Movement Chairman, Muhammad Sharif Sartaj has strongly condemned the use of brute force by Indian occupational forces on civilians in Banihal area of Jammu region.

Muhammad Sharif Sartaj in a statement issued in Jammu said that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi had given license to its forces to subject civilian population to inhuman torture. He said Modi should forget that he would harass the Kashmiri people into submission through such brutal tactics. »

Srinagar, July 30 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, an activist of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) activist was injured after being shot at by unknown gunmen in Mitrigham area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Monday night.

The gunmen fired upon the man namely Lateef Shah Ahmad in nearby orchards at Mitrigham village.

In the incident Shah suffered bullet wounds in his legs and was immediately taken to nearby hospital for treatment. »

Srinagar, July 30 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir,the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement, Zafar Akbar Butt while welcoming the release of Latif Ahmad Waza, Mirza Nisar Hussain, Mohammad Ali Butt and Abdul Ghani Goni,said they were implicated in fictitious and fabricated cases.

Zafar Akbar Butt in a statement issued in Srinagar expressed dismay over the snail’s pace proceedings of courts, saying it took 24 long years to prove them innocent. They were sentenced for the crime they had never committed, he said adding that investigating agencies and police punished them simply because they were Kashmiri Muslims . »
