‘Kashmir dispute can’t be resolved through military might’ » Kashmir Media Service

Srinagar, August 01 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) has said that Kashmir dispute can never be resolved through military might.

A DFP spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said the only democratic way to resolve the long-pending Kashmir dispute is to honour and respect the sentiments of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

He said it is time for the world powers and forums to move beyond issuing statements and take practical step so that the ongoing bloodshed in Kashmir is stopped and precious human lives are saved.

Meanwhile, illegally detained Chairman of Islami Tanzeem-e-Azadi, Abdul Samad Inqilabi, in a statement issued in Srinagar paid glowing tributes to the Kashmiri youth martyred recently by Indian troops in Bandipora, Islamabad and Rajouri districts and those martyred during the last month of July. He said the Kashmiri martyrs’ sacrifices, which have centre-staged the Kashmir dispute at the global level, would not go waste.

Abdul Samad Inqilabi said India cannot subdue the freedom sentiment of the Kashmiri people by killing and torturing them, adding that the liberation movement would be taken to its logical conclusion at all costs.
