Luton, UK, August 10 (KMS): Hundreds of British Kashmiris and their sympathizers held an anti-India demonstration in Luton, UK, against abrogation of special status of Jammu and Kashmir by India.

The demonstrators including women were holding banners and placards with slogans like “Stop genocide in Kashmir”, “We stand with Kashmir”, “End the occupation”, “Modi is a fascist” and “Stand with Kashmir.”

The protesters also raised high-pitched slogans against India and asked the Indian rulers to stop massive human rights violations in occupied Kashmir and release all illegally detained Hurriyat leaders and activists languishing in different jails of India and the territory.

The demonstrators also appealed to the world community and international human rights organizations to take cognizance of the illegal and undemocratic actions of the Indian rulers in the occupied territory and help in resolving the Kashmir dispute according to the will of the Kashmiri people.
