New Delhi, August 14 (KMS): Indian police arrested pro-India Kashmiri politician, Shah Faesal at Delhi Airport while he was going abroad

Shah Faesal, the topper of Indian Administrative Service (IAS), who quit the services for politics, was reportedly about to fly abroad when he was arrested in Delhi. He was sent back to occupied Kashmir and placed under house arrest.

Shah Faesal has been critical about the Indian government’s move to end special status of Jammu and Kashmir and split it into two union territories. Yesterday, he warned in a Twitter post that Kashmir “needed a non-violent political mass movement for restoration of political rights”.
