Bradford, August 15 (KMS): The Jammu Kashmir Self-Determination Movement International (JKSDMI) team led by Founder Chairman Raja Najabat Hussain started a signature campaign on Kashmir petition on August 14 in Bradford, urging the international community, in particular the British and the European parliamentarians, to support call for a safe, peaceful, secure and a prosperous future for the peoples of Jammu & Kashmir, and the whole region.
The signed document will be presented to the British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, on 10th September, 2019, asking him to play role in the settlement of the Kashmir dispute.
The Chairperson of All-Party Kashmir Group in UK parliament, Debbie Abrahams, MP, signing the petition, assured her full cooperation. Other Members of Parliament also signed the document and gave their full support to the Jammu Kashmir Self-Determination Movement International.
The JKSDMI office bearers during functions and meetings with Members of Parliament, councillors and community leaders apprised them of the latest Kashmir situation.
Meanwhile, an extra-ordinary meeting of JKSDMI office bearers and their supporters was held at a local restaurant with Patron, Sardar Abdur Rehman, in chair. Different organizations, councillors and representatives of different parties also participated in the meeting and gave their full support to the organization.
They also strongly condemned the scraping of Articles 370 and 35A of Indian Constitution and announced to participate in the demonstrations and functions in London.
