‘BJP playing cheap politics on BDC chairpersons’ affiliation’ » Kashmir Media Service

Jammu, October 31 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Panchayat Conference, Shafiq Mir, has said that Bharatiya Janata Party is trying to induce the newly elected chairpersons of the Block Development Councils for political gains.

Shafiq Mir addressing a press conference in Jammu said, “Majority of the elected BDC Chairpersons are independent and have no affiliation with any political party, particularly of BJP, which stands exposed in these elections because of its poor performance.”

Shafiq Mir, who was elected as BDC Chairman for Bafilaz Block, said that BJP leaders of the territory were trying to influence the elected Chairpersons for which corrupt means were being adopted. “The BJP leaders are trying to mislead by giving an impression that the elected Chairpersons are coming to their fold but the Panchayat Conference will foil their nefarious designs and expose their foul politics,” he announced.
