Islamabad, Jan 05 (KMS): APHC-AJK chapter leader and Vice Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Movement (JKPM), Abdul Majeed Malik has said the Kashmiris all over world over are observing Right to Self-Determination Day to remind the United Nations to implement its resolution passed on January 5, 1949, so that the Kashmiris have the opportunity to decide their future.

Addressing a meeting of Kashmiri refugees in Gujranwala, today, he deplored that India had imposed military siege in occupied Kashmir on August 05 last year when it repealed its special status and divided it into two union territories. He said that due to lockdown the people of the territory were facing food and medicine shortage. All the Kashmiri leaders have been kept in notorious prisons in India and people are not being allowed to offer their congregational Juma prayers, he added.

Abdul Majid Malik said that Modi is spilling the blood of the Muslims of India to fulfill the RSS agenda, which has engulfed the entire India.

He appealed to the global community to play its role in resolving the Kashmir dispute so that permanent peace could be established in the region.

Malik Zafar Iqbal, Malik Usman, Malik Sadiq, Councilor Malik Mohammad Farooq, Malik Zaidullah, Maulana Abdul Salam Malik Asif also addressed on the occasion.
