IOK people continue to suffer amid lockdown on 194th day

Islamabad, February 14 (KMS): Independent experts and analysts on Kashmir have expressed the apprehension that India may carry out another false flag operation to defame Pakistan and Kashmiris’ freedom struggle and to create a war-like situation in the region.

A report released by the Research Section of Kashmir Media Service on the occasion of the completion of one year to the Pulwama incident, today, said that India had always resorted to nefarious tactics to malign the Kashmiris’ ongoing struggle for securing their right to self-determination. Over 40 Indian soldiers were killed in an attack on a convoy of Central Reserve Police Force in Pulwama on February 14, last year. The experts and analysts said that Pulwama like dramas were aimed at making world believe that Kashmiris’ freedom struggle was nothing but terrorism. They, however, said that the Pulwama false flag operation failed and it ended in Pakistan’s victory. »

Islamabad, February 14 (KMS): The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has emphatically stated to stick to his stance on resolution of outstanding Kashmir dispute through dialogue and peaceful means on the basis of justice.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan, addressing the joint sitting of Pakistan parliament amidst the thumping of desks by the elected representatives in Islamabad on Friday, said, Kashmiri brothers have been living under difficult circumstances over the years. He said, the recent unilateral steps have further added to their woes and the situation has assumed alarming. He noted that depriving the Kashmiris from their freedom and usurping their rights is not in anybody’s interests. »

Islamabad, February 14 (KMS): APHC-AJK chapter leader and Vice Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Movement (JKPM), Abdul Majeed Malik has said that India wants to further vitiate the situation in occupied Kashmir before high-profile visits to the region.

Abdul Majeed Malik addressing a party meeting in Islamabad said that the people of New Delhi had rejected Modi’s extremist policies and now Modi wanted to implement the RSS agenda in occupied Kashmir. “The targeted killings of Hurriyat activists are also part of the agenda. The killing of the former chief of Tehreek-ul-Mujahideen, Abdul Ghani Dar alias Abdullah Ghazali in Srinagar was also part of it,” he added. »

Srinagar, February 14 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, initiating implementation of its heinous plan to grab Kashmiris’ lands and other properties, India has decided to give 6,000 acres of land to the Indian and international investors and the authorities have also completed land identification work.

India is going to hold an international business conference in the occupied territory in April and May this year, in which the land will be formally announced to the investors. Preparations for holding of the conference are in full swing. »

Islamabad, February 14 (KMS): An extra-ordinary meeting of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference-Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter was held in Islamabad, today.

The participants of the meeting presided over by the APHC-AJK General Secretary, Muhammad Hussain Khateeb, appealed to the people of occupied Kashmir, Pakistan, Muslim Ummah and Kashmiris living all over the world to pray for the early recovery of ailing APHC Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani.

The meeting also expressed concern over the prevailing situation in occupied Kashmir and deplored that the Indian troops were committing the worst kind of human rights violations in the territory to suppress the freedom sentiment of the Kashmiri people. They also strongly condemned the continued military siege of the Kashmir valley after the Indian government repealed Kashmir’s special status and divided it into two union territories on August 5, last year. »

Srinagar, February 14 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian police arrested four youth in south Kashmir’ Islamabad and Pulwama districts.

The police arrested three youth, identified as Adil Ahmed Dar, Aqib Fayaz Makroo and Aajaz Ahmed Sofi during house raid in residents of Arwani and Gund Chahal areas of Islamabad district. The police took into custody another youth, Tawfeeq Ahmed Butt, from Mongahama in Tral area of Pulwama district. »

Islamabad February 14 (KMS): The Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Freedom League, Muhammad Farooq Rehmani Shaheed Ghulam Muhammad Bulla.

Ghulam Muhammad Bulla was brutally tortured to death in the Central jail Srinagar by the police authorities on 15h February 1975 for raising his voice against the Indra -Sheikh Abdullah Delhi Accord.

Muhammad Farooq Rehmani in a statement in Islamabad said that Shaheed Bulla was arrested in his home town, Sopore, beaten by the police officer Bandey and lodged in the Central Jail. He said Bulla was the first youth martyred in the Central Jail and buried secretly during an operation outside the Degree College, Sopore. »

Kotli, February 14 (KMS): Hurriyat leader and the Convener of Pir Panjal Peace Foundation, Mehmood Akhtar Qureshi, has said that the Kashmir movement has entered a decisive phase after India’s actions of August 5, last year.

Mehmood Akhtar Qureshi addressing an oath-taking ceremony of Poonch Students Organisation as a chief guest in Kotli, said that India’s move of repealing the special status of Kashmir had brought the people of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh to the forefront of ongoing freedom movement. He urged the people of Kashmir to forge greater unity among their ranks to take the movement to its logical conclusion in a more effective manner. He also prayed for early recovery of APHC Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani. »
