Islamabad, Feb 15 (KMS): Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan on Friday said Pakistan government and the people highly appreciated unflinching Turkish support for Kashmir cause.
Talking to media outside Parliament house, she said that Turkish President has helped Prime Minister Imran Khan in highlighting the longstanding Kashmir issue at international forums.
She said Ankara has always supported Islamabad in difficult times and it has strengthened Pakistan’s narrative at the international fora including Organisation of Islamic Cooperation and United Nations. »

Islamabad, Feb 15 (KMS): Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s stance on Kashmir was unparalleled and that he had openly supported Islamabad in this regard.
Addressing a press conference, Qureshi said: “Erdogan’s address to the Parliament’s joint session was historic.”
Islamabad’s relations, he added, remained unaffected with Kaula Lampur and Ankara. “Erdogan’s visit is acknowledgement of the fact that Pakistan and Turkey have and will continue to have historic relations,” he said. »

Lahore, Feb 15 (KMS): Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has said that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has given a solid message on Kashmir issue to the world. Narendra Modi has no other option but to settle the Kashmir issue.
Four American senators voicing against atrocities on Kashmiris and human rights violations is also victory of the stance of Kashmiris, said the Punjab governor.
He said Narendra Modi had become a threat to peace. United Nations and other international organisations instead of becoming silent spectator should take practical measures to stop terrorism and extremism of Narendra Modi, he stated. »

Lahore, Feb 15 (KMS): Religious leaders have praised the courageous stance of Turkish President Teyyip Erdogan for supporting the just cause of freedom for the oppressed Kashmiri Muslims and said he had earned himself the most prominent place among Muslim leaders of the world.
Jamaat-e-Islami ameer Senator Sirajul Haq, while lauding Tayyip Erdogan’s brave stance on Kashmir and Palestine issues during his address to the joint session of the parliament, said Erdogan proved himself the bravest leader and true representative of Muslim Ummah.
In a statement from Mansoora on Friday, the JI leader demanded the other rulers of Islamic world take the similar stance on the issues facing the Muslim world and display unity in their ranks to address them. »

Lahore, Feb 15 (KMS): Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s visit to Pakistan shows the growing friendship between the two countries and the tour would further boost bilateral relations.
