Islamabad, Feb 01 (KMS): Prime Minister Imran Khan has warned the international community that India’s ruling Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) is preparing to repeat the Myanmar style genocide and exclusion of its minority population.
He said that as many as 500 million people will be excluded from the citizenship list under India’s new controversial citizenship law, which is followed by updating the exercise of the National Register of Citizens (NRC).
In an exclusive interview with Anadolu Agency in Islamabad, the premier spoke in details on an array of issues including situation in the Middle East, Afghanistan, relations with Turkey, domestic issues, such as the country’s economy, climate changes, relations with arch-rival India and its actions in Occupied Kashmir. »

Islamabad, Feb 01 (KMS): An in-camera session of the Kashmir Parliamentary Committee on Friday took into account the measures taken by New Delhi in Indian Occupied and Jammu Kashmir since August 5 and discussed the solution to the disputed territory in the light of United Nations resolutions.
Later, briefing the media on the details of the meeting, Kashmir Committee Chairman Syed Fakhr Imam said that the measures adopted by India in Occupied Kashmir would not only have negative repercussions on the region but on the world.
He stressed giving Kashmiris their right to self-determination and declared the UN resolutions cardinal to the solution of Kashmir issue. »

Lahore, Feb 01 (KMS): Jamaat-e-Islami Naib Ameer Liaquat Baloch has said the Indian government under Premier Narendra Modi has proved it is the government of extremists.
Addressing a meeting at Mansoora on Friday, he said the most unfortunate aspect of the Muslim persecution in India was that none of the western countries and organisations championing the cause of human rights and freedom had responded to the situation.
He announced that the Milli Yakjehti Council meeting would be held in Islamabad on February 3 to discuss the situation prevailing in the Middle East and Kashmir.

Lahore, Feb 01 (KMS): The Kashmir-Palestine Solidarity Day was observed all over the country on the call of Pakistan Ulema Council (PUC).
While addressing Friday congregations, religious scholars rejected US President Trump’s formula for Palestine, stating that the Muslim Ummah would not accept one-sided proposal for Jerusalem.
They said any solution for Palestine without Al-Quds would not be accepted. The stance of Saudi King Shah Salman and Palestinian President Mehmood Abbas on peaceful settlement of Palestine was categorical and entire Muslim Ummah had announced endorsement of the stance of the Saudi king and Palestinian president. »

Lahore, Feb 01 (KMS): Alhamra Arts Council organised theatre play “Kashmir Baney Ga Pakistan” to show solidarity with people of Kashmir who are fighting against brutal Indian army for their freedom. The drama was attended by huge number of audience in Hall 2 at Alhamra Cultural Complex at Gaddafi Stadium.
MPA Sadia Suhail Rana was the chief guest at the event who specially participated in the opening ceremony of the drama. On the occasion, she said that the entire nation of Pakistan was standing with people of Kashmir and we salute Kashmiri people for their battle against Indian brutalities. The play “Kashmir Baney Ga Pakistan” was written and directed by Qaisar Iftikhar. »

Islamabad, Feb 01 (KMS): As part of Kashmir Solidarity Day commemorations, a bicycle rally was arranged by District Administration Islamabad in collaboration with Federal Directorate of Education, youth of Islamabad, Tobacco Control Cell and DC ICT Volunteers Task Force here on Friday.
The rally was inaugurated by DC Islamabad, Muhammad Hamza Shafqaat. It started from Zero Point and culminated at Faisal Masjid where a sizeable crowd was waiting for welcoming the bicycle rally participants.
The deputy commissioner welcomed and addressed the participants at the end and highlighted the steps/initiatives taken by the District Administration to express solidarity with Kashmir cause. »
