Srinagar, March 03 (KMS): An Indian court extended judicial custody of the three Kashmiri students charged with sedition for allegedly raising pro-Pakistan slogans, by another five days.

The Karnataka’s Hubali court sent Basit Ashiq Sofi (19), Talib Majid (19) and Amir Mohiuddin (23), to judicial custody till March 7, Advocate B.T. Venkatesh pleading case of the illegally detained Kashmiri students told over phone to media men in Srinagar. »

Srinagar, March 03 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, posters have appeared in different areas of the territory asking people to boycott the local collaborators of India like Altaf Bukhari and Muzaffar Baig and treat them as goons of RSS and boycott them and their families.

The posters pasted on the walls have been issued by Tehreek-e-Warseen-e-Shuhada-e-Jammu and Kashmir. In the posters, the people of occupied Kashmir have been asked to boycott these traitors, treat them as goons of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and Bajrang Dal and not allow them to visit their areas. The posters say that urge the Kashmir that these traitors should be pelted with stones wherever they are seen. »

Islamabad, March 03 (KMS): Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi says people of Pakistan have high hopes attached to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) as it has always raised its voice for the resolution of the Kashmir dispute.

Islamabad, March 03 (KMS): Special Envoy to Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Secretary General for Jammu and Kashmir Yousaf M Al. Dobeay has said that Pakistan effectively highlighted the Kashmir issue and the OIC delegation will visit the Line of Control on Wednesday (March 4) to ascertain the ground realty in the disputed region.

Addressing a news briefing in Islamabad on Tuesday, he said that the OIC supported the Kashmir issue and made several decisions for its peaceful resolution. »

UNHRC told about Indian atrocities in IOK

Srinagar, March 03 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, a protest demonstration was held in Jammu, today, against revocation of Jammu and Kashmir’s special status by India, ongoing military siege and Internet gag in the Kashmir valley and massacre of innocent Muslims at the hands of Hindu extremists in New Delhi.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the protest was jointly organized by Muslim, Sikh and Dalit organizations outside Press Club in Jammu. While condemning the suppression of democratic rights of the Kashmiri people by Indian forces, the protesters demanded restoration of Kashmir’s special status, release of all political detainees and an end to the military lockdown in the territory. Prominent among those who attended the protest march included Shaikh Abdur Rehman, ID Khajuria, Narender Singh Khalsa and Mir Shahid Saleem.

Kashmiri people have been asked through posters pasted on streets, bridges and buildings in Srinagar and other parts of the territory to treat the local collaborators of India like Altaf Bukhari and Muzaffar Baig as goons of RSS and BJP and boycott them and their families. The posters, published by Warseen-e-Shuhada, urged people to deal with these traitors in a tough manner wherever seen. »

Islamabad, March 03 (KMS): Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Secretary General’s Special Envoy for Jammu and Kashmir, Ambassador Yousef M. Al Dobeay Tuesday reaffirmed the organization’s continuing support to Pakistan over the Kashmir dispute.

Addressing a presser along with Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, he said the OIC and its secretary general had been making concerted efforts to get the dispute resolved peacefully through dialogue. »

Srinagar, March 3 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian authorities filed a charge-sheet against two persons, including an Imam on the charge of making a pro-freedom speech at the funeral of martyred lecturer, Dr Mohammad Rafi Butt, in May of 2018.

Indian police said it presented a charge-sheet against the two identified as Muhammad Rafiq Shah, and Bashir Ahmad Lone for delivering a speech at Chunduna Ganderbal during the funeral of Dr Mohammad Rafi Butt and were booked under the draconian law, Unlawful Activities Prevention Act.
