Srinagar, March 15 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, thousands of people attended the funeral of Gulzar Ahmed in Tarigam area of Kulgam district.

Gulzar Ahmed was martyred by the Indian troops along with three other Kashmiri youth during a siege and search operation at Watrigam Islamabad, today.

On the occasion of the funeral, people shouted high pitched slogans in favor of freedom, Syed Ali Gilani and Pakistan and against India.

A delegation of Jammu and Kashmir Social Youth Forum comprising Zubair Mir, Muhammad Faisal, Tauseef Ahmed and Jamsheed Ahmed attended the funeral and later visited the residence of martyred youth Gulzar Ahmed to express solidarity with his family. On the occasion Tauseef Ahmed, paid rich tributes to the martyred youth. He said the resistance leadership and freedom loving Kashmiri people would take the mission of martyrs forward at any cost.

IOK court frames charges against Malik

Srinagar, March 15 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred four Kashmiri youth in Islamabad district, today.

The youth were killed by the troops during a cordon and search operation in Watrigam area of the district. The troops sealed all entry and exit points in Watrigam, Achabal and Islamabad areas, and launched massive door-to-door search operations. The martyred youth were identified as Tariq, Muzaffar, Umar and Sajjad. The troops also destroyed a house, which belonged to one Fayaz Ahmad Dar.

A TADA court in Jammu has framed charges against Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik, and other freedom leaders in a fake case registered against them around 30 years ago. TADA Court judge, Subash C Gupta, framed the charges against Muhammad Yasin Malik, Ali Mohammad Mir, Manzoor Sofi, Javed Mir, Saleem, Javed Zargar and Shoukat Bakhshi without providing them with proper opportunity to defend themselves. The case pertains to the killing of four Indian Air Force men in an attack in Srinagar on January 25, 1990. »

Srinagar, March 15 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the people have said that lockdown might be new to the world, but people of the territory are under a state of constant lockdown from the past seven months.

The locals while talking to media in Srinagar said that the world had turned a blind eye to the miseries of the Kashmiris, but was now facing almost the same situation.

“The world is suffering from coronavirus which will be finished in few months, but Kashmiris are facing Modi virus,” said a resident of Srinagar. “Narendra Modi virus has converted entire IOK into the world’s largest prison,” he added. »

The troops have sealed all the entry points of Watrigam, Achabal and Islamabad, and launched massive door-to-door search operations.

One of the martyred youth has been identified as Tariq Ahmed. The operation was going on till last reports came in.

Meerut, March 15 (KMS): Satyapal Pal Malik, former Governor of occupied Kashmir, has said that the Indian government has constructed 6,000 houses for Kashmiri Pandits in the territory.

Addressing the convocation ceremony of a private university in Meerut, Satyapal Pal Malik asserted that the BJP government had implemented various measures for the rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits, and constructed 6,000 houses for them and it was upto them to either leave them locked and live in Delhi, or return to the Kashmir valley. »

Srinagar, March 15 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, India’s infamous National Investigation Agency (NIA) has carried out fresh raids in north Kashmir.

Multiple raids were carried out in various villages of Pattan and at least two houses of businessmen were searched for many hours. The NIA sleuths were accompanied by Central Armed Police Force and police personnel. »

Srinagar, March 15 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, a team of the Press Council of India arrived in Srinagar to analyze for itself the situation arising out of gag on media and difficulties faced by local journalists amid ongoing military lockdown and internet ban in the territory.

A three-member team of the Press Council of India headed by Balwinder Singh and comprising Kamal Nain Narang and Syed Raza Hussain Rizvi as its members arrived in Srinagar on a four-day visit to the territory. »

Geneva, March 15 (KMS): International Human Rights Association of American Minorities (IHRAAM) organised a panel discussion “Democratic Despotism and Crimes Violations of Self-Determination” on the sidelines of the 43rd session of the United Nations Human Rights Council (HRC) in Geneva.

The panelists, in a lively interaction, detailed the Kashmir dispute, Alaska and Hawaii, referencing other cases in the world where the right to self-determination is denied and suppressed, when in fact it could be used as a conflict prevention strategy. »

Islamabad, March 15 (KMS): All Parties Hurriyat Conference-Azad Jammu and Kashmir chapter leader and Vice-Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Movement, Abdul Majeed Malik has said that Indian forces arrest youth in so-called search operations in occupied Kashmir and move them to unknown places.

Abdul Majeed Malik during his talks with the Jammu refugees at Jalin Saleempura in Hafizabad said that panic was found among the people in the Muslim-majority areas of Jammu as they are victimized and harassed by the Indian forces. He said that the judiciary in India was not free, adding that Kashmir liberation leader, Afzal Guru was executed without providing him legal right. »
