India plotting to further colonize Kashmir

Srinagar April 13 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their continued acts of state terrorism martyred three Kashmiris including a child and a woman while destroying dozens of structures in Tumina, Chowkibal area of Kupwara district.

Those killed were identified as Shamima Begum, 37, Javid Ahmad Khan, 16, and an eight-year old child, Zeehsan Bashir. The Indian army personnel attacked the village with the latest artillery and fired mortar shells indiscriminately. The action has created widespread panic in the area.

APHC leader, Mohammad Shafi Lone in a statement in Srinagar said that in view of the lack of coronavirus test facility in the occupied territory, the teams of World Health Organization and other international non-governmental organizations should be given an access to Jammu and Kashmir to suggest preventive measures for the local population. »

Srinagar, April 13 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, two Indian policemen were killed and another was critically injured in an attack in Kishtwar district, today.

The policemen associated with the Special Operation Group were identified as Vishal Kumar and Bashir Iqbal. They were killed by attackers with sharp axes in the remote Tandar area of Dachan area in the district. »

Srinagar April 13 (KMS): The Chairman of Hurriyat forum, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, who is also chief cleric of occupied Kashmir, has been listed among world’s most 500 influential Muslims for the sixth consecutive year.

Srinagar April 13 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, analysts who closely watch the ground situation have said that despite the pandemic of coronavirus India continues with its anti-Kashmir policies in blatant violations of UN resolutions .

Srinagar April 13 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, APHC leader and Chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir Employees Movement, Mohammad Shafi Lone has strongly condemned the killing of innocent Kashmiris and perpetration of serious human rights violations by Indian troops in the territory.

Muhammad Shafi Lone in a statement in Srinagar said that Indian troops had unleashed state terrorism in the form of cordon and search operations in the occupied territory and were killing youth on daily basis. However, he said that such tactics could not suppress Kashmiris’ struggle for freedom.

He paid rich tributes to the Kashmiri youth who were recently martyred by Indian troops in different areas of the territory and said that because of the sacrifices of these martyrs, Kashmir has become center stage across the globe. »

Islamabad, April 13 (KMS): APHC leader and Vice Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Movement (JKPM), Abdul Majeed Malik has said that the Indian forces have unleashed an undeclared war on the Line of Control (LoC).

Abdul Majeed Malik in a statement issued in Islamabad deplored that the Indian forces during the last 24 hours had martyred a two-year-old child and injured several others, five of them are in critical condition. The two-year-old child was playing in front of his house where the Indian army firing martyred him, he added. »

Jammu, April 13 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian police raided high-security Kotbhalwal Jail in Jammu.

A team of Jammu-based police raided the jail and claimed to have recovered mobile phones from the possession of some detainees who the police described as militants and overground workers.

New Delhi, April 13 (KMS): Senior Congress leader Kamal Nath has come down heavily on the BJP government in India, accusing it of being responsible for the situation arising out of coronavirus in the country.

Kamal Nath talking to media persons in New Delhi also alleged that the BJP government ran Parliament only to ensure that the Madhya Pradesh assembly could function and the Congress government headed by him could be toppled. »

Srinagar, April 13 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, a former Indian soldier succumbed to his bullet injuries in a hospital in Srinagar, today.

The retired Indian Territorial Army (TA) soldier identified as Abdul Hamid Mantoo was shot at and critically injured in an attack by unknown gunmen in Buchroo area of Kulgam district.

He was shifted to 92 base hospital in Srinagar for treatment and succumbed to his injuries in the hospital. »

Islamabad, April 13 (KMS): President of Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement, Altaf Ahmed Butt has urged the UN Military Observer Group (UNMOGIP) and international media to visit the Line of Control to check India’s warmongering and ceasefire violations.

Altaf Ahmed Butt in a statement in Islamabad said, while the whole world is trying to combat the COVID-19 outbreak, Indian Army is committing ceasefire violations on the Line of Control besides being busy in state terrorism in ocucpied Kashmir.

He said people in occupied Jammu and Kashmir are stranded between military lockdown by India and COVID-19 lockdown, while there is a serious shortage of food and medicine and medical equipment in hospitals. “And Hindutva inspired BJP government rather than providing the supplies and normalising the situation has resorted to Killings, suppression during cordon and search operations.” »
