Hatred against Muslims increasing in India:Report

Srinagar, April 25 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred three Kashmiri youth in Pulwama district, today, taking the number of slain youth to nine since Wednesday.

The troops martyred the three youth during a cordon and search operation at Goripora in Awantipora area of Pulwama district, today morning. During similar operations, the troops killed two youth at Arwani in Islamabad district, yesterday, and four others in Melhora area of Shopian district on Wednesday.

APHC leader, Khawaja Firdous, and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference, Shabbir Ahmed Dar, in their statements issued in Srinagar paying tributes to the martyred youth said that India was committing genocide of Kashmiris amid lockdown in the territory.

Meanwhile, an analytical report released by the Research Section of Kashmir Media Service, today, said that the wave of hatred and prejudice against Muslims in India had witnessed an increase of a dangerous proportion under RSS-backed Narendra Modi-led fascist government. »

Srinagar, April 25 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Ummat-e-Islami, Qazi Ahmed Yasir has reiterated that his party will firmly fight for the basic rights of the people of the territory.

Qazi Ahmed Yasir speaking to his party leaders and activists at his home in Islamabad town said that he would continue to fight for the people’s rights and dignity. “I promise to stand next to my people along with the teachings of our religion,” he added.

Qazi Yasir was recently released from jail after 18 months illegal detention after he was booked under various fake charges. »

New Delhi, April 25 (KMS): The Press Club of India (PCI) has denounced the authorities of occupied Kashmir for subjecting the Kashmiri journalists to heat amid the restriction on high speed internet.

The PCI in a statement issued in New Delhi said that ‘events’ of the past week underlined the fact that the new norm in Kashmir for the police was to call journalists to police stations in connection with their published reports, photographs, or their social media posts, and to file FIRs against journalists.

Cases have been filed under serious charges against three journalists, Peerzada Ashiq, Masarrat Zahra and Gowhar Geelani. »

Srinagar, April 25 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat leader, Firdous Ahmad Shah has urged the Modi-led Indian government to stop killing innocent Kashmiris and resolve the dispute according to the United Nations resolutions.

Firdous Ahmad Shah in a statement issued in Srinagar paid rich tributes to the youth martyred in Shopian, Islamabad, Pulwama and Kishtwar by the Indian troops. »

New Delhi, April 25 (KMS): Police have registered a case against Kannan Gopinathan, who resigned from the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) last August, for not joining duty as directed by the government amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Kannan Gopinathan, who hails from the Indian state of Kerala, had quit the service over denial of freedom to the people of occupied Kashmir.

An FIR, under the Epidemic Diseases Act and Disaster Management Act was registered against him on April 21 at Moti Daman police station in the Union territories of Daman and Diu and Dadra and Nagar Haveli, police said. »

Srinagar, April 25 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Political Movement (DPM) has said that India is committing genocide of Kashmiris amid lockdown in the territory.

APHC leader and the DPM Chairman, Khawaja Firdous, in a statement issued in Srinagar said that in the last few days, Indian troops had martyred more than ten youth in Kulgam, Islamabad, Shopian and Pulwama during the so-called cordon and search operations.

He said that India was massacring the Kashmiri youth under a well-thought-out plan in the territory. He added that the entire world was fighting the coronavirus pandemic, while India, taking advantage of the situation, was killing youth in Kashmir which was condemnable. »

Srinagar, April 25 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, three Indian Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel including an officer were injured in an attack in Budgam district.

An unidentified person lobbed a grenade inside the camp of CRPF 29 battalion at Duniwari in Chadoora area of the district, resulting in the injuring three soldiers including an Inspector rank officer. The injured were identified as Inspector Mayesh Chand, constable G Prakesh Rao and constable K Sirnu. »

Srinagar, April 25 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the authorities have revoked detention orders issued under draconian law Public Safety Act (PSA) against 28 persons languishing in different jails of India and the territory.

The PSA detention of 28 persons lodged in different jails of occupied Kashmir and Uttar Pradesh have been revoked by the Home department of the occupied territory.

Reports said that of these 28 persons 22 were lodged in UP jails and six in the prisons of the occupied territory. Noted business leader, Muhammad Yasin Khan, who heads Kashmir Economic Alliance (KEA) and Kashmir Traders and Manufacturing Federation (KTMF), is also among those whose PSA detention has been revoked. »

Islamabad, April 25 (KMS): The wave of hatred and prejudice against Muslims in India has witnessed an increase of a dangerous proportion under RSS-backed Narendra Modi-led fascist government.

An analytical report released by Research Section of Kashmir Media Service said Muslims are being portrayed as terrorists in India. It said that there was a growing tide of bigotry and oppression against Muslims in the country where lynching of Muslims had become a norm.

“Muslims are being attacked in ever-increasing numbers across Indian cities and towns while killers of Muslims continue to go unpunished. Members of Muslim community are treated harshly for their faith and culture. Modi’s ascension to power has inflamed an already dangerous atmosphere for Muslims in India,” it said. »

Islamabad, April 25 (KMS): Syed Faiz Naqshbandi, the Convener of AJK chapter of Mirwaiz Umar Farooq-led Hurriyat forum, has said that at a time when the world is facing coronavirus pandemic, Indian troops in occupied Kashmir are arresting the people ruthlessly on the charges of violating the lockdown and taking them to unknown places.

Syed Faiz Naqshbandi in a statement issued in Islamabad deplored that even whereabouts of the arrested persons were not being disclosed to their families.

He pointed out that then fake encounters were being staged in which the innocent people particularly youth were being killed. “This is beginning of genocide of Kashmiris in occupied Kashmir under the garb of coronavirus. This needs immediate attention of the United Nations and the international community,” he added. »
