Indian soldier killed, another hurt in blast
Srinagar, May 03 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) man was injured when a grenade lobbed at an Indian forces party in Pulwama district of south Kashmir.
A CRPF official told reporters that a CRPF constable, identified as Sumanpradhan, received injuries on his left leg and right hand and was given first aid.
Additional forces have rushed to the area and started a search operation, he added.
Meanwhile, an Indian soldier was killed and another was injured in an accidental grenade blast in Kupwara district. Reports said a grenade exploded accidentally during a training exercise near the Line of Control (LoC) in Karnah sector in Kupwara.
”Two soldiers were injured in the blast,” the reports said, adding the wounded were immediately evacuated to Army’s 92 base hospital, where one of the injured succumbed.
