Srinagar, May 12 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops and police went berserk, vandalized public property and arrested people randomly in a village in Budgam district.

For the last three days the occupational troops and police personnel have been appearing in Nasrullah Pora village of the district and running amok damaging public property, beating locals and arresting people before leaving the village.

Some reports say that the troops and police personnel have looted 27 shops including hardware stores and gas cylinders, damaged 162 vehicles and 42 houses as well as breaking window panes of nearly 800 homes in the village in last three days. »

Srinagar, May 12 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the authorities, today, extended ban on high-speed internet in the territory till May 27 even as the demand for restoration of the connectivity grows in view of the fast spreading coronavirus.

An order to this effect was issued by the Home Department of the occupied territory.

2G internet service also remains suspended in Pulwama and Shopian district. »

Srinagar, May 12 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian police arrested four Kashmiri youth in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, today.

The police arrested the youth identified as Shabbir Ahmed Parray, Sheeraz Ahmed Dar, Shafat Ahmed Mir and Ishfaq Ahmed Shah from Awantipora area of the district. »

Internet suspension continues in IOK

Srinagar, May 12 (KMS): The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has said that the hands of RSS-backed Narendra Modi’s fascist government are soaked with the blood of innocent Muslims in India and occupied Jammu and Kashmir and is exploiting anti-Muslim sentiment for political gains.

The APHC spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar, today, pointed out that amid the coronavirus outbreak, the Modi government had unleashed a reign of terror in occupied Kashmir even in the holy month of Ramadan. He added that nocturnal raids, arrests of youth and vandalism during the frequent crackdown operations by Indian forces had made the life of Kashmiri people a hell. The APHC called upon the United Nations, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and international human rights organizations to force India to stop human rights violations and resolve the Kashmir dispute as per the relevant UN resolutions and Kashmiris’ aspirations. »

Islamabad, May 12 (KMS): The Convener of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir AJK chapter, Ghulam Muhammad Safi, while paying tributes to Handwara and Pulwama martyrs has said that the Kashmiri people are facing the same situation which was once faced by the Muslims in the Battle of Badr.

Srinagar, May 12 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, two Indian Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) officers committed suicide in two different places in the territory, today.

A CRPF ASI Fateh Singh committed suicide by shooting himself with service rifle at Akrun Mattan in Islamabad district on Tuesday morning.

Reports said that Indian forces rushed to the area after hearing the gunshot and recovered Singh’s body in a pool of blood. The CRPF Sub Inspector, Fatah Singh, has left behind a suicide note that read: “I am afraid, I may have corona.” Officials said. »

New Delhi, May 12 (KMS): With no immediate respite from continued suspension of internet service in occupied Kashmir amid growing cases of coronavirus insight, the Indian Supreme Court has restricted itself to mere asking the Modi government to constitute a committee to look into the matter.

While delivering its judgment on various petitions seeking restoration of high-speed internet service in Jammu and Kashmir, the Supreme Court asked the government to constitute a committee of secretaries, to be headed by Home Secretary, to take into considerations the points raised by the petitioners.

However, the tops Indian court has failed to pass on any order for immediate restoration of Internet service. »

Srinagar, May 12 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, an Indian soldier was killed and two others were injured in two different incidents in the territory.

The soldier was killed after natural lightening struck Saujiyan area of Poonch district, an official said. “Natural lightening hit the area, leaving the Army man dead,” Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Poonch, Ramesh K Angral said.

Two other Indian soldiers were critically injured in an explosion that took place in Rajouri area. »
