Srinagar, May 19 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, forceful anti-India protest demonstrations erupted at different places in Srinagar against the killing of top commander of Hizbul Mujahideen, Junaid Sehrai and his associate by Indian troops in Srinagar, today.

Junaid Sehrai, the son of senior APHC leader Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai, along with his associate, was martyred by Indian troops during a cordon and search operation in Nawakadal area of the city, early in the morning. »

Srinagar, May 19 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, defying restrictions, hundreds of people participated in the funeral prayers in absentia for top commander of Hizbul Mujahideen, Junaid Sehrai, in Srinagar, today.

The funeral prayers held outside the house of the martyred Junaid Sehrai at Bagaat Barzalla in Srinagar was led by his father and senior APHC leader, Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai.

Junaid Sehrai along with his associate, Tariq Ahmed, was martyred by Indian troops during a cordon and search operation in Nawakadal area of Srinagar, today. The troops also destroyed, at least seventeen houses and looted cash, jewellery and other precious items during the operation. »

Srinagar, May 20 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Gilani, and other pro-freedom leaders and organizations have paid glowing tributes to the martyred top commander of Hizbul Mujahideen, Junaid Sehrai, and his associate.

Indian troops martyred Junaid Sehrai along with his associate, Tariq Ahmed, during a cordon and search operation in Nawakadal area of Srinagar on Tuesday. The troops also destroyed at least seventeen houses and looted everything including cash and jewellary during the operation.

Syed Ali Gilani in a statement issued in Srinagar said, “We salute the courage of Junaid Sehrai and all bravehearts of our nation who are sacrificing their youth for the cause of freedom. These sacrifices will enlighten the path to freedom.” He deplored that when the whole world was engaged in combating the coronavirus pandemic, India was pushing its nefarious agenda in occupied Kashmir. »

Destroy 17 houses; loot cash and jewellery during caso

Srinagar, May 19 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops resorted to the worst kind of vandalism during a cordon and search operation in Nawakadal area of Srinagar, today.

The troops martyred a top commander of Hizbul Mujahideen, Junaid Sehrai along with his associate, Tariq Ahmed, during the operation.

The cordon was launched by the troops late last night. The troops sealed all entry and exit points and conducted house-to-house searches.

Videos of the military operation making rounds on social media show that the troops destroyed at least 17 houses in the area. Locals could be seen dousing flames emanating from and debris of several houses destroyed in the locality. »

The Acting Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League, Farooq Ahmad Tawheedi while expressing condolences with Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai and family of other martyr, reiterated the Kashmiris’ resolve to continue the martyrs’ mission till complete freedom from Indian bondage. He also demanded the release of all Kashmiri detainees before Eid-ul-Fitr. »

Srinagar, May 19 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, as the world is collectively facing deadly coronavirus, India continues to kill, harass and intimidate the Kashmiris in the name of cordon and search operations, making the lives of the people a hell in the length and breadth of the territory.

According to a report released by the Research Section of Kashmir Media Service, today, Indian troops killed 12 Kashmiris, arrested 64 and destroyed or damaged as many 778 houses and shops during 287 cordon and search operations in the Kashmir valley and Jammu region over the past 18 days of May 2020. The troops looted dozens of houses in Badgam district alone. »
