Syed Ali Gilani’s message on eve of Al Quds Day

Srinagar, May 21 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani has called upon the Muslims around the world to stand up for the freedom of oppressed Muslims of Palestine and Kashmir from Zionist Israel and fascist regime in India.

Syed Ali Gilani in a message on the eve of International Quds Day reminded the Muslims not to let the world forget the issue of Palestine by creating an atmosphere of silence. He also brought the attention of the Muslims towards the oppressed and neglected Muslims of occupied Kashmir at a time when Indian regime in New Delhi was in a process of changing the demography of the territory. »

Srinagar, May 21 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, a high-level delegation of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) led by Secretary General Molvi Bashir Ahmed met with Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Chairman Muhammad Ashraf Sahrai at his residence, today.

The delegation comprised Farooq Ahmad Tawheedi, Ghulam Mohammad Khan Sopori, Mohammad Maqbool Magami, Bilal Ahmad Siddiqui, Muhammad Ramzan. Ghazi Manzoor ,Yasmeen Raja,Khawaja Firdous Ahmed, and Muhammad Shafi Shah. »

Srinagar, May 21 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, a delegation of Jammu and Kashmir Youth Social Forum led by its Chairman, Umar Aadil Dar visited the residence of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Chairman, Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai and expressed solidarity with him over the killing of his son, Junaid Sehrai, by Indian troops in Srinagar on Tuesday.

The other members of the delegation include Zubair Hassan Mir, Ghulam Rasool Kullo, Angad Singh Khalsa, Advocate Zia, Junaid Ahmad, Rayees Ahmad and Shafiq Ahmad Khan. »

Srinagar, May 21 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, two Indian policemen were killed in an attack in Pulwama district, today.

Unidentified gunmen attacked a joint party of Indian police and paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force in Prichoo area of the district, resulting in killing of two policemen.

Soon after the attack, Indian police and troops cordoned off the area and launched searches to nab the attackers.

Meanwhile, Indian forces’ personnel during cordon and search operations arrested seven youth in Badgam and Kupwara areas.

New Delhi, May 21 (KMS): The Concerned Citizens Group (CCG), led by former Indian Minister and BJP leader, Yashwant Sinha, has said that the Narendra Modi-led Indian government is using coronavirus lockdown to further its agenda in occupied Kashmir.

The CCG members, Yashwant Sinha, Wajahat Habibullah, Kapil Kak, Bharat Bhushan and Sushobha Barve in a statement issued in New Delhi said that the Modi government was using the opportunity of the lockdown to implement domicile laws in the occupied territory.

The statement said that the situation in Kashmir was far from normal as political leaders, including former chief minister of the territory, continued to remain under detention, communication lockdown continued, the economy was in disarray and the media was facing harassment. The situation is unlikely to take a positive turn in the months ahead, it added. »

Islamabad, May 21 (KMS): The All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter held a condolence meeting in Islamabad to pay homage to top Hizbul mujahideen commander, Junaid Sehrai, and his associate, Tariq Ahmed, in occupied Kashmir.

Indian troops martyred Junaid Sehrai, son of senior APHC leader, Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai, and Tariq Ahmed during a cordon and search operation in Nawakadal area of Srinagar on Tuesday.

The participants of the meeting, presided over by the APHC-AJK General Secretary, Muhammad Hussain Khateeb, said that Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai had a vital contribution in the ongoing Kashmir liberation movement. They said that Ashraf Sehrai had spent a major part of his life in the jails and torture centres of India and even he sacrificed his beloved son for the Kashmir cause. »

Islamabad, May 21 (KMS): Pakistan summoned a senior Indian diplomat to its Foreign Office today and lodged a strong protest over the ceasefire violations by the Indian occupation forces in Chirikot Sector along the Line of Control, yesterday.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Foreign Office Spokesperson, Aisha Farooqui, in a statement said that an innocent civilians sustained injuries in the indiscriminate and unprovoked firing by the Indian occupation forces.

She said the Indian occupation forces along the LoC and the Working Boundary have continuously been targeting civilian populated areas with artillery fire, heavy-caliber mortars and automatic weapons. In 2020, India has so far committed 1102 ceasefire violations, she added. »

Brussels, May 21 (KMS): The Chairman of Kashmir Council Europe (KCEU), Ali Raza Syed, strongly condemning the killing of mujahid commander, Junaid Sehrai, and his associate, Tariq Ahmed, by Indian troops in Srinagar has said that Indian authorities have increased the ruthless oppression under the garb of coronavirus in occupied Kashmir.

Srinagar, May 21 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, senior Hurriyat leader and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Independent Movement (JKPIM) Bilal Ghani Lone, has paid rich tributes to Shaheed-e-Hurriyat, Khawaja Abdul Ghani Lone, on his 18th martyrdom anniversary.

Khawaja Abdul Ghani Lone was killed by unknown assailants when he was returning from Eidgah after addressing a public gathering on this day in 2002.

Bilal Ghani Lone in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Khawaja Ghani Abdul Lone played a conspicuous role in the ongoing freedom movement and for the rights of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

While remembering Khawaja Lone’s contribution for the ongoing movement, he said that the martyred leader had dedicated his life for the sacred cause. He expressed the hope that the followers and fans of Khawaja Lone would carry forward his mission with zeal and zest. »
