India destined to face defeat: Gilani

Srinagar, May 25 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred two Kashmiri youth in Kulgam district, today.

The youth were killed during a cordon and search operation, jointly launched by the personnel of Indian Army, paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force and Indian Police in Damhal Hanjipora area of the district. The authorities suspended all mobile Internet services in Kulgam and Shopian districts.

The Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Gilani in a message once again urged people to thwart Indian designs against Muslim identity of Jammu and Kashmir by not selling their property to outsiders, not even for the purpose of trade, education and development. The APHC Chairman stressed the need for determination and unity to counter frequent changes being brought about by the oppressor India in Jammu and Kashmir. However, he made it clear that India was destined to face defeat and the final victory will be on the Kashmiris’ side. He pointed out that India was afraid of even dead bodies of the Kashmiri martyrs and was not handing them over to the parents for burial. He asked the Muslim countries around the world to break their silence and prove loyalty to Islam as the heart of Muslim world is being stabbed with another Palestine in the making in Kashmir. »

Srinagar, May 25 (KMS): Sikh organization Dal Khalsa has felicitated Kashmiri Muslims and their leadership on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Dal Khalsa Spokesperson Kanwarpal Singh in a message said that the Sikh organization had sent a message of brotherhood and wished happy Eid to all Kashmiri Muslim brethren and Syed Ali Gilani.

“Physically, he [Syed Ali Gilani] has been confined to the four walls of his house by Indian state for his political beliefs and ideology since many years. He is aged, unwell but enlightened and a devout Kashmiri nationalist- committed to the [freedom] cause,” the message added.

Urges people to thwart India’s plan by not selling property to outsiders

Srinagar, May 25 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Gilani has once again urged people to thwart Indian designs against Muslim identity of Jammu and Kashmir by not selling their property to outsiders, not even in the name of trade, education and development.

Syed Ali Gilani in a message to the people of Jammu and Kashmir in connection with Eid-ul-Fitr asked them not to accept the outsiders as even tenants. “Convince your relatives, friends and colleagues to frustrate Indian designs against Muslim identity of Jammu and Kashmir by not selling their property to outsiders, not even in the name of trade, education and development,” he said.

The APHC Chairman stressed the need for determination and unity to counter introduction of frequent changes by the oppressor India in Jammu and Kashmir. He said India is destined to face defeat as it is a divine tradition, which we have witnessed in the case of Pharao who drowned in river Nile. »

Srinagar, May 25 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the death toll due to novel coronavirus has gone up to 23 after two more persons were confirmed as having died of the dreaded disease.

The sample of a 65-year old woman from Bogam area of Kulgam, who died at SMHS Hospital in Srinagar on May 23 (Saturday), tested positive, today.

Dr Salim Khan nodal officer Covid-19 at Govt Medical College Srinagar said that the woman was admitted at the hospital a day before his death with bilateral pneumonia. He added that the body of the deceased had been kept in the mortuary of GMC Srinagar till the report of the sample was available. »

Srinagar, May 25 (KMS): In Occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat leader and the Chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Political Movement (DPM), Khawaja Firdous has strongly condemned the use of brute force by Indian troops on peaceful protesters on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Khawaja Firdous in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Indian forces tortured Kashmiri Muslims because they celebrated Eid with Pakistan. He said Kashmiri people have loved Pakistan from day one and follow Pakistan in Islamic festivals and other matters and will continue to do so in future. »

Srinagar, May 25 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations were a low-key affair on Sunday as most of the faithful marked the culmination of the fasting month of Ramadan by offering thanksgiving prayers at home in view of the strict lockdown.

No Eid prayers were offered for the second consecutive time in major mosques and shrines of Kashmir as Indian Army and police had enforced restrictions in most parts of the valley including Srinagar city.

People were forced to offer Eid prayers at home — either individually or in small groups comprising family members. »

Srinagar, May 25 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, illegally detained Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Islami Tanzeem-e-Azadi, Abdul Samad Inqilabi was presented before a court in Srinagar via video conferencing.

The Islami Tanzeem-e-Azadi spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the judge, after hearing the arguments, fixed the next hearing of the case on June 19 and extended the remand of Abdul Samad Inqilabi.

He said that Abdul Samad Inqilabi had been detained several times under the draconian Public Safety Act (PSA) and is still behind the bars under the same act. »

Srinagar, May 25 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, a senior cardiologist was thrashed by Indian police personnel and was kept in illegal custody in Srinagar.

After release from the custody, Dr Syed Maqbool, a well known cardiologist, while talking exclusively to media men in Srinagar said that he was stopped by police team in Hawal area of downtown in Srinagar when he was on way to SMHS hospital. “I was stopped by a cop and asked to go through an alternate route, where there was a huge traffic mess.

“I requested the policeman to allow me to take the different route, showed him my identity card and pleaded before him repeatedly, but he refused,” the doctor said. “When I disembarked from my vehicle, the policeman hit my stomach with the plastic cane in his hands.” »
