Traitors warned of people’s wrath

Srinagar, June 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, senior APHC leader and Chairman of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir, Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai has said that India is not a secular but a Hindu state, which has no respect for human values.

Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai in a media interview in Srinagar said that the fascist regime in India neither allowed him to see the last glimpse of his martyred son, Junaid Sehrai, nor to offer his funeral prayers. He pointed out that Indian rulers considered it as boldness to disrespect the dead bodies of the martyrs, particularly of Kashmiri Muslims whereas it was nothing but sheer cowardice. The APHC leader maintained that the BJP and RSS regime had exposed the real face of India and the reality is known to everybody beyond doubt that New Delhi is not ready give regard to set standards of humanity and morality. »

Srinagar, June 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their continued act of state terrorism martyred a Kashmiri youth in Rajouri district, today.

The youth was killed by the troops during a cordon and search operation in Kalakote area of the district, today.

Bradford, June 04 (KMS): The speakers in a video conference in Bradford have raised the Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir.

The conference was organized by the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Right to Self-determination Movement International, Raja Najabat Hussain in collaboration with All Parties Kashmir Group, UK.

The speakers said that over 300 days of the lockdown and restrictions in occupied Kashmir had been completed. They said after the double lockdown, India considers Kashmiris as its enemy and is not providing them with essential health items in coronavirus epidemic environment. »

Bangalore, June 04 (KMS): Pro-Kashmir freedom banners were hoisted and ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ slogans were raised during a student protest demonstration in Bangalore, India, while the students also demanded the release of their arrested companions.

Students, maintaining social distance, gathered in Moriah Circle to protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act and the National Register of Citizens. »

Rawalpindi, June 04 (KMS): An active member of Kashmir freedom movement, Israr Hussain Mir, alias Miras-ul-Islam, passed away in Rawalpindi, today. He was 56.

Miras-ul-Islam was suffering from the diabetes and kidney problems. His nemaz-e-janaza will be offered after Asar at 6pm, today, at Janaza Gah, Shabaz Sharif Park, Rawal Chowk, Rawalpindi.

Miras-ul-Islam was affiliated with Jammu and Kashmir democratic Freedom Party (DFP) led by illegally detained Shabbir Ahmed Shah. He left behind his wife and two daughters.

Miras-ul-Islam belonged to Gantamulla area of Baramulla district of occupied Kashmir. Members of Kashmiri community living in Rawalpindi and Islamabad have expressed grief over his sad demise.

Srinagar, June 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, one more person tested positive of Coronavirus two days after his death, taking the total number of the fatalities due to the infectious disease in the territory to 35.

An 86-year-old man from Pattan area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district tested positive for COVID-19, five days after his death. The octogenarian, a resident of Hamray Pattan Baramulla, died on May 29 and his sample was taken at the local Community Health Centre in the area. The authorities had allowed the burial of the man as per COVID-19 protocol after his family agreed to it. His sample report tested positive at CD hospital diagnostic laboratory on Tuesday. »

Srinagar, June 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Devinder Singh Behl, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference leader and chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir Social Peace Forum, has paid rich tributes to Sardar Janak Singh Sodi, President of the Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee Baramulla for his pro-freedom services.

Devinder Singh Behl visited the residence of Sardar Junak Singh Sodi and offered condolences to his family. »

Srinagar, June 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir Youth Social Forum leader, Angad Singh has paid glorious tributes to all Sikh leaders and Sikh Sangat pilgrims who were killed in Indian Army’s operation “Blue Star” in Golden temple from in June 1984.

Angad Singh in a statement issued in Jammu said, “We in Kashmir remember this day as black day. Also this day is a proof of Sikh and Muslim brotherhood right from Kashmir to Punjab and all over the world.

He said, Indian army attacked Darbar Sahib and killed thousands of innocent Sikhs, including three Muslim youth who were protesting against the brazen attack and desecration of Sikhs biggest religious place Golden Temple. »

Islamabad, June 04 (KMS): The Information Secretary of APHC-AJK chapter, Sheikh Abdul Mateen, has said that people of Jammu and Kashmir have not offered sacrifices of their youth for perks and privileges of Indian puppets in the territory.

Shaikh Abdul Mateen in a statement issued in Islamabad made these remarks on the reports that India was going to install a new puppet set-up in occupied Kashmir. He warned the traitors that the people of Jammu and Kashmir would never compromise the sacred blood of their martyrs. »

London, June 04 (KMS): Pakistan High Commissioner for UK, Nafees Zakaria, held a virtual meeting with British Labour Party politician and Shadow Foreign Secretary, Lisa Nandy MP, and apprised her of the grave human rights situation in occupied Kashmir.

A press release issued by the Pakistani High Commission said that Nafees Zakaria and Lisa Nandy MP agreed that Jammu and Kashmir is an internationally recognized dispute, which must be resolved in accordance with UN Security Council resolutions and aspirations of the Kashmiri people.

The High Commissioner expressed concern over the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the wake of India’s illegal action of repealing the special status of occupied Kashmir on August 05, 2019. He highlighted the sufferings of the people of occupied Kashmir who remain under Indian siege for past over 300 days, with communication blockade and denial of access to media and human rights defenders. »
