Islamabad, June 09 (KMS): An anti-India protest demonstration, organized by APHC-AJK, was held outside Indian High Commission in Islamabad.

The demonstration was led by senior APHC-AJK leader, Muhammad Farooq Rehmani. The participants of the protest strongly denounced the Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir. The protesters who were wearing masks due to coronavirus pandemic, chanted slogans against India. Anti-India slogans were also written on the masks. The protesters said that India was committing genocide in occupied Kashmir, where youth were being extra-judicially killed by Indian troops.

Mohammad Farooq Rahmani while addressing the protesters said that India was torturing the Kashmiris under the guise of coronavirus in the occupied territory. »

Srinagar, June 09 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, two more deaths were recorded due to novel coronavirus, today, taking the number of the deadly virus related causalities to 49 in the territory.

According to Kashmir Media Service, a 50-year-old man from Panzath Qazigund and a 52-year-old man from Sopore died at GMC Islamabad and Srinagar’s Chest Disease hospital respectively. With these two fatalities, the death toll due to the Covid-19 pandemic has mounted to 49 in the entire occupied territory including 43 from the Kashmir Valley, five from Jammu division and one from Ladakh region.

Principal GMC Islamabad, Dr. Showkat Jeelani said that a 50-year-old man from Panzath, was very critical and died at GMC today morning. He said he was tested positive for Covid-19 a few days ago and was suffering from pneumonia besides other ailments. »

Hina got infected with covid-19 in NIA custody

New Delhi, June 09 (KMS): A court in Delhi on Tuesday denied bail to an illegally detained Kashmiri woman who tested positive for the coronavirus while in the custody of the National Investigation Agency in a false case registered against her and her husband.

The worman Hina Bashir Beig and spouse Jahanzaib Sami Wani were arrested by the Delhi Police’s Special Cell from the Indian Capital’s Jamia Nagar in March for allegedly instigating protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act.

Hina is currently admitted to Delhi’s Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Hospital. Her lawyer told the court that treatment facilities at the hospital were inadequate. »

Srinagar, June 09 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir Ummat-e-Islami and Ittehad-e-Islami have strongly condemned the killing of innocent youth and destruction of houses during the so-called operation by Indian troops in Shopian district.

The troops killed as many as nine youth and destroyed around two dozen houses during the operations in Raiban and Melhoora areas of the district.

Ummat-e-Islami leader, Qazi Yasir during a visit to the victim families appealed to the people to come forward to help out the needy families. He said that the victims of Indian barbarism had been deprived of their roofs and livelihood in Shopian. Their houses have been reduced to rubble, he added. He said besides destruction of houses, the troops shot a woman 5 times in her leg during the operation. »

Srinagar, June 09 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has paid glowing tributes to the nine youth, martyred by Indian troops in Shopian district saying that the mujahideen are the asset and pride of the Kashmiri people.

Jammu, June 09 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Sikh Intellectuals Circle, Narinder Singh Khalsa, has said that Sikh community will continue to strive for honourable resolution of the Kashmir dispute as per UN resolutions.

Narinder Singh Khalsa, while addressing a function organized by Sikh youth in Gole Gujral area of Jammu paid rich tributes to all martyrs. He said the Sikh community can never forget the wounds of operation Blue Star. The function was organized in memory of 1984 operation Blue Star, which killed thousands of Sikh leaders and community members including Sant Jernail Singh Bhindranwale, Bh Amrik Singh and Gen Subegh Singh. »

Srinagar, June 09 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Gilani continues to remain as an icon of resistance against India’s illegal occupation over Jammu and Kashmir.

According to a report released by the Research Section of Kashmir Media Service, New Delhi has miserably failed to cut off Syed Ali Gilani from the Kashmiri masses through putting him jails and under house arrest for a long period of time.

New Delhi, June 09 (KMS): As China’s military has carried out a large-scale drill from a central Chinese province to the areas bordering India, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi took a swipe at Indian Home Minister Amit Shah over his claim that India has successfully protected its borders under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Shah while addressing a virtual public rally in Bihar on Sunday had boasted that the surgical strikes in Uri, Baramulla, was proof of India’s solid defense policy and that the country comes third to the US and Israel in protecting its borders.

Tagging the Shah’s statement, Rahul Gandhi said, “Everyone knows what’s the reality at the borders,” in an apparent dig at the India’s embarrassing position vis-à-vis China in Ladakh. »

Srinagar, June 09 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism arrested over a dozen youth in Pulwama district.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the troops along with the personnel of police and paramilitary forces during cordon and search operations and house raids arrested over 17 youth in different areas of Pulwama district.

On the other hand, during the dreaded COVID 19 spread, Indian troops continued their cordon and search operations in Srinagar, Baramulla, Bandipore, Kupwara, Ganderbal, Budgam, Islamabad, Pulwama, Kulgam, Ramban, Rajouri, Poonch, Kishtwar, Doda and other towns and villages of the districts making the daily life of the people a hell. »
