Srinagar, June 10 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders and organizations while denouncing the spree of killing unleashed by Indian troops in Shopian district over the past three days have paid glowing tributes to the martyrs saying that the youth are sacrificing their lives for the freedom cause.

Jammu and Kashmir Tehreek-e-Mazahamat Chairman, Bilal Siddiqi, in a statement issued in Srinagar, today, said the red hot blood of martyrs would never go in vain. “Destruction of houses and properties, loot and arson are deliberate attempts of awarding collective punishment to the freedom-loving people of Kashmir,” he added.

Bilal Siddiqi said that the Kashmiri youth were choosing resistance path against luxurious and promising carriers and were fighting the sacred war of freedom to liberate their motherland from brutal Indian occupation. Reacting to the mass destruction of properties in Reibon, Pinjora and Sugoo in Shopian district, he said these are acts of cowardice, aimed at inflicting collective punishment to the freedom loving Kashmiri people. »

Srinagar, June 10 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, body of a missing Indian soldier has been recovered from a dam in Baramulla district.

The deceased Indian soldier, Afsar Singh, a resident of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, had been missing for the past five days. His body was recovered from a dam built on a river in Boniar, Uri area of Baramulla, on Wednesday.

Baramulla police confirmed that the body of the soldier was recovered from Boniar dam.

New Delhi, June 10 (KMS): A contempt petition has been moved in the Supreme Court of India stating that despite the court’s order, the Indian government has not set up a special committee to review internet restrictions in occupied Kashmir.

The petition was submitted by the Foundation of Media Professionals. On May 11, a bench headed by Justice N.V. Ramana had directed constitution of a special committee immediately to examine the continuity of restrictions limiting internet speed to 2G, instead of high speed 3G/4G services, which was demanded by the petitioners, including the Foundation of Media Professionals. »

Srinagar, June 10 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred five more Kashmiri youth in Shopian district, today.

The troops martyred the youth during a cordon and search operation in Sugoo Hendhama area of the district. The operation was going on till last reports came in. Indian police and troops have sealed all entry and exit points of the area.

The occupation authorities have suspended internet service in the district. »

Islamabad, June 10 (KMS): Minister for Kashmir Affairs Ali Amin Gandapur says Indian occupied forces have escalated atrocities in Kashmir and Kashmiri youth are being martyred daily under the guise of house-to-house search.

In a statement, he said incidents of extrajudicial killings have increased to a dangerous level in the Indian Occupied Kashmir and the world community should take notice of this. »

Islamabad, June 10 (KMS): Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Senator Shibli Faraz has said the extremist face of India stands exposed before the world.

In his tweets, he said the recent killing of nine innocent Kashmiri youth at the hands of Indian occupation forces in Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir is an extreme persecution. He said the use of pellet guns, tear gas and other atrocities against the innocent Kashmiris raising voice for their democratic right speaks volume of Indian crimes against humanity. »

Islamabad, June 10 (KMS): Strongly condemning the killing of nine youth by Indian troops in occupied Kashmir within 24 hours, AJK President Sardar Masood Khan has said that the Indian Army is making abortive attempts to overcome shame and humiliation it had received from Chinese army in Ladakh.

Expressing reaction over the killing of nine Kashmiri youth and destruction of private property on a large scale during a so-called operation in Shopian district of occupied Kashmir, he said that a professional army never indulges in such acts. »
