Srinagar, June 11 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, APHC leader and the Chairperson of Tehreek-e-Khawateen Kashmir, Zamruda Habib, has condemned the continued cordon and search operations in the Kashmir Valley and ceasefire violations along the Line of Control by Indian troops.

Zamruda Habib in her interactions with the people and her party members said that mostly innocent Kashmiris were becoming victims of these inhuman and brutal actions of Indian troops.

She said that the continued cordon and search operations and killings, arrests and destruction of property and ceasefire violation long the LoC posed a big threat to peace in South Asia. »

Srinagar, June 11 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the situation is becoming increasingly dire for the poor and working class due to the Indian military siege and lockdown which have kept the routine life paralyzed since August 05, last year.

The military siege has largely affected the poor and working class of the society while the business community is also worried. Thousands of people associated with the tourism sector, including hoteliers, houseboats, hunters, taxi drivers and craftsmen have been rendered jobless since August 05, 2019. »

Islamabad, June 11 (KMS): APHC-AJK leader and Vice Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Employees Movement, Imtiaz Wani, has expressed concern over the surge in Indian state terrorism in occupied Kashmir.

Imtiaz Wani in a statement issued in Islamabad condemned the continued cordon and search operations in occupied Kashmir by Indian troops. He deplored that when the entire world is fighting the deadly COVID-19, India is committing brutalities in the occupied territory.

He said that Kashmiris would never tolerate the killing spree and atrocities and would continue protest against India’s undemocratic and inhuman acts. He said that India was trying to suppress the Kashmiris’ freedom movement through military might but would never succeed in its nefarious designs. »

Srinagar, June 11 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops launched a violent cordon and search operation in Badgam district, subjecting the locals to huge inconvenience.

The troops cordoned off Pathanpora area of the district late last night and launched searches. The troops sealed all entry and exit points of the area. The operation continued till last reports came in. »

Islamabad, June 11 (KMS): A senior Indian diplomat was summoned to Foreign Office on Wednesday to register Pakistan’s strong protest over the ceasefire violations by the Indian occupation forces along the Line of Control in Jandrot Sector resulting in serious injuries to four innocent civilians.

According to Foreign Office, due to indiscriminate and unprovoked firing by the Indian occupation forces, 26 years old Nasreen Akhtar resident of Sandhara village, 24 years old Rabia and 7 years old Momina residents of Dera Sher Khan village, and 7 years old Munshi, resident of Bamroch village sustained serious injuries. »

Islamabad, June 11 (KMS): Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) President Sardar Masood Khan strongly condemning unprovoked Indian firing in Jandrot, Tatta Pani and Goi sectors along the Line of Control has warned India to stop playing with fire in the interest of peace and security of the region.

Five civilians including two innocent women and two kids were injured and public property destroyed as a result of the Indian aggression. »
