Srinagar, June 13 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has said that after miserably failing to suppress the Kashmiris’ freedom struggle through its military might, India has now resorted to malicious tactics to malign it.

APHC Secretary General, Maulvi Bashir Ahmed, in a statement issued in Srinagar, said India’s secret agencies have issued a letter attributed to the APHC Chairman Syed Ali Gilani. He termed the letter as totally fabricated and fake, having nothing to do with Syed Ali Gilani.

He said that this forged letter was the handwork of Indian agencies meant to defame the freedom struggle and Pakistan. He maintained that Pakistan had been at the forefront of the Kashmiris’ freedom struggle, always providing it political, diplomatic and moral support and the people of Kashmir were thankful of Islamabad for the same. »

Srinagar, June 13 (KMS): More than 220 Kashmiris stranded in Muscat have urged the Indian authorities to make arrangements for their evacuation, saying they have been facing tough times for the past around three months.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Srinagar-based English newspaper Greater Kashmir reported that it received email from the stranded people who urged the authorities to evacuate them on priority basis.

The stranded people said that they were struggling to get a direct flight to occupied Kashmir as only one flight was arranged by the Indian government on June 2 which evacuated around 157 stranded passengers. »

India killing Kashmiris to prolong its occupation

Srinagar, June 13 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh acts of state terrorism martyred four more Kashmiri youth in Kulgam and Islamabad districts, today.

The troops martyred two youth each during cordon and search operations at Nipora in Kulgam and in Lallan area of Islamabad. The operations continued till last reports came in. Indian police and troops sealed all entry and exit points of the areas. The occupation authorities suspended internet service in the two districts. These killings raised the number of martyred youth to 18 during last one week. Indian troops have martyred 14 youth during violent military operations in different areas of Shopian district since Sunday.

A delegation of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League visited Shopian to express solidarity with the families of the youth recently martyred by the troops. The delegation members, on the occasion said that the mission of Kashmiri martyrs would be accomplished at all costs.

The Jammu and Kashmir Young Men’s League and Jammu and Kashmir Students Youth Forum in a joint statement said that scores of activists of the two organizations held protest demonstrations in different areas of Srinagar and Islamabad against the continued killing of Kashmiri youth by Indian troops. »

Srinagar, June 13 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Patron of Jammu and Kashmir Mass Movement (JKMM), Farida Bahenji, has paid rich tributes to the youth martyred in Kulgam and Islamabad districts by Indian troops during cordon and search operations, today.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Farida Bahenji in a statement issued in Srinagar deplored that the Indian troops were brutally killing the youth on daily basis and the United Nations and the international community must take notice of it. »

Srinagar, June 13 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, APHC leader and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Political Movement (DPM), Khawaja Firdous, has said that India has been committing atrocities on the Kashmiri people for the last over seven decades to perpetuate its illegal occupation of the territory.

Khawaja Firdous addressing a gathering in Ahmed Nagar area of Srinagar said that India was using different tactics, including genocide of Kashmiris and use of women as weapons of war, to suppress Kashmiris’ struggle for right to self-determination movement but would never succeed in its nefarious designs.

He said that when India saw its clear defeat in Kashmir, it repealed the special status of the territory to change its demography. He said that Modi government was furthering the Hindutva agenda of RSS in occupied Kashmir. He said that Kashmiris were being forced to sell their property to non-Kashmiris so that they could get settled in the occupied territory, thus turning Muslim majority into a minority. »

Srinagar, June 13 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, a delegation of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League (JKPL) led by party leader, Arif Sufi, visited Shopian to express solidarity with the families of the martyred youth.

Indian troops have killed more than 14 Kashmiri youth and destroyed several houses during cordon and search operations at three different places in Shopian district during last one week.

The delegation members, paying tributes to the martyrs, said that the mission of martyrs is the mission of every Kashmiri and the people of Kashmir would not allow anyone to betray the sacrifices of the martyrs.

They said that the Kashmiri people had been struggling for securing their birthright to self-determination for the last 72 years as they had never accepted the Indian occupation over their motherland. »

Lawyers say they are being summoned, harassed by Indian police

Srinagar, June 13 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian police have filed an open FIR and started questioning those criticising the judgment of High Court of the territory, which denied bail to illegally detained High Court Bar Association President, Mian Abdul Qayoom, just for his political ideology and stance on the Kashmir dispute.

Indian police had arrested Mian Abdul Qayoom, days after Modi government revoked the special status of occupied Kashmir on August 05, last year. He was booked under draconian law, Public Safety Act (PSA), and shifted to Agra central jail in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. He was later moved to New Delhi’s infamous Tihar jail after he suffered a severe heart attack in Agra prison. »

Srinagar, June 13 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, one more person, who had tested positive for Covid-19, died at a hospital in Srinagar early today, taking the death toll due to the disease in the territory to 55.

The deceased, who was a retired doctor from Parraypora area of Srinagar, died at Medical College-Hospital (MCH), Bemina. Identified as Dr Abdul Rasheed Shervani, he was undergoing treatment for Covid-19 since June 2 and breathed his last around midnight. »
