As part of anti-Muslim drive NIA to probe 22-year-old woman

New Delhi, June 14 (KMS): The infamous Indian National Investigation Agency (NIA) has taken 10-day custody of a 22-year-old Muslim woman from Kolkata, West Bengal, in the name of questioning.

The detained woman, Tania Praveen, who studied MA in a Kolkata-based college, was arrested in March 2020 on the charge of possessing a SIM not in her name.

The NIA team will grill the woman at its office in Kolkata. The arrest, many believed, is part of the anti-Muslim drive of the Modi-led fascist Indian government. However, in a bid to malign the Indian Muslims, the secret agencies have implicated her in a fake case of working for Kashmiri mujahideen.
