Islamabad, June 22 (KMS): As the Modi government has intensified human rights violations in occupied Kashmir, Saudi Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, today, reaffirmed the Kingdom’s traditional support for the Kashmir cause.

During a phone call, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and his Saudi counterpart agreed to remain in close contact to take forward the important bilateral agenda and close cooperation in various fields.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi shared deep concern over the continuing double lockdown as well as the intensification of military crackdown by Indian forces and attempts to change the demographic structure of the disputed territory by introducing new domicile law. »

Srinagar, June 22 (KMS: In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders and organizations have played glowing tributes to the three Kashmiri youth martyred by Indian troops in Srinagar, yesterday.

The All Party Hurriyat Conference leader and Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Political Movement, Khawaja Firdous in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Indian forces were engaged in massacre of the Kashmiri youth in the occupied territory.

Khawaja Firdous while paying tributes to the youth martyred by Indian troops in Srinagar, yesterday, said that India knew from the day one that the Kashmiris were not ready to accept its illgal over their motherland, and therefore New Delhi was using every tactic to the local population. He said that the Indian forces were using massacre , destruction of property, desecration of women and illegal detention of Kashmiri leaders as tactics to advane its nefarious agenda in Kashmir. »

Srinagar: Missing Kashmiri scholar's family seeks help to trace him #GallerySrinagar, June 22 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, family members of Hilal Ahmad, a PhD scholar from Bemina area of Srinagar who is missing from the past more than one week staged a protest demonstration at Press Club in Srinagar to press for his release from the illegal custody of Indian Army.

Hilal Ahmad went missing when he was travelling from Srinagar to Gangbal in Gandarbal district.

A woman participant of the protest demonstration while talking to media persons pleaded the release of missing Hilal Ahmad.

The family members were carrying placards that read: “Release Hilal from captivity”, “Release the innocent” and “Mysterious disappearance of Hilal”. »

Srinagar, June 22 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir People’s Freedom League (JKPFL) led by Muhammad Farooq Rehmani has made startling revelation that Indian Army is involved in picking up Kashmiri youth from jails and houses and killing them after labeling them as militants.

JKPLF spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said the troops burry these innocent victims in unknown places to hide their heinous crime.

The spokesman said that an innocent boy named Mohsin Khandwa, 17, was picked up and martyred in Zadibal area of Srinagar. He urged the UN to take cognizance of what India was doing against humanity in Kashmir. Mohsin was believed to be in Indian Armyh’s custody since May 26. »

Brussels/Geneva, June 22 (KMS): The President of the All Parties Group on Kashmir–European Parliament (APGK), Professor Klaus Buchner, (MEP) called a virtual meeting of the Group to review the parliamentary and diplomacy work concerning the Kashmir dispute with particular reference to the occupied Kashmir since the COVID pandemic.

Prof Buchner provided the overview of the existing crisis in IOK. President Carles Puigdemont (MEP) opined that the self-determination issue is the central point in most of the conflicts including Jammu and Kashmir conflict. »

Srinagar, June 22 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops continued their cordon and search operations in several areas of the occupied territory.

The troops launched cordon and search operation at Verinag area of Islamabad district .

An Indian police official told media men that the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon them triggering a gunfight.Two to three militants are believed to be trapped in the area, the official claimed. »

Srinagar, June 22 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat leader and Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Islamic Political Party, Muhammad Yousuf Naqash has strongly condemned India’s plan to open liquor shops in the territory.

The Hurriyat leader in a statement issued in Srinagar said that drinking alcohol was illicit not only in Islam but also in other religions and was against human action.

Muhammad Yousuf Naqash demanded a complete ban on the use and sale of liquor in Jammu and Kashmir. He appealed to religious scholars to launch a campaign against the use of liquor and make people aware of its harmful effects on society. He criticized the Indian authorities for taking such unwise decisions, saying it was another attack by India on the Muslim-majority population of occupied Kashmir »
