Srinagar, June 25 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Political Movement (DPM), a constituent of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference, has hailed the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) for holding the meeting of its Contact Group on Jammu and Kashmir.

The OIC Contact Group on Jammu and Kashmir in its meeting on Monday expressed deep concern over the worsening human rights and humanitarian situation in occupied Kashmir and demanded India to stop any move towards changing the demographic structure of the territory. It said the question of Kashmir is of utmost importance for Muslim Ummah and called upon its member states to raise the dispute in their bilateral engagements with India.

The DPM in a meeting presided over by its Chairman Khawaja Firdous in Srinagar thoroughly discussed the current grim situation of occupied Kashmir. The participants of the meeting said that describing Kashmir as an issue of the Muslim Ummah by the OIC Contact Group was a commendable and positive development. »

India’s behavior with Pakistani diplomats clear violation of Vienna Convention

Islamabad, June 25 (KMS): Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said innocent Kashmiris are being martyred every day.
In a statement issued here, he also lauded Saudi Arabia and Turkey for rejecting India’s decision about occupied Kashmir.

He also lamented India’s behavior with Pakistani diplomats in New Delhi terming it a clear violation of the Vienna Convention. »

Kuala Lumpur, June 25 (KMS): The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) has express full support to the communique of the recent OIC Contact Group Virtual Emergency meeting on the situation of Indian occupied Kashmir.

In a letter to OIC, ASEAN coalition pointed out that the situation on the ground in Jammu Kashmir is dire and needs immediate attention to alleviate the sufferings of the Kashmiri civilians. »
