Srinagar, July 01 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has denounced the false propaganda being advanced by the major chunk of Indian media, aimed at creating discord among ranks and files of the Kashmiri people.

APHC Spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar, today, said that the Indian media would not succeed in its nefarious designs as the entire world knows that it has a nexus with the RSS-backed BJP government. The spokesman said that the APHC was following the same path, shown and championed by Syed Ali Gilani. He said that the veteran leader spent his whole life for the right to self-determination of the Kashmiri people. »

Srinagar, July 01 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh acts of state terrorism martyred two more Kashmiris in Sopore town and Rajouri district, today. These killings raised the number of martyred youth to 7 since Monday.

The troops martyred a civilian during a cordon and search operation in Model town area of Sopore. The family of the victim, Bashir Ahmed Khan, told media men that he was brought down from his vehicle and killed by the troops of Indian Central Reserve Police Force.

Earlier, two CRPF soldiers were killed and two others critically injured in an attack in the same area. The occupation authorities have suspended internet service in Sopore. »

Srinagar, July 01 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their continued acts of state terrorism martyred fifty four (54) Kashmiris including two (2) young boys during the last month of June.

According to the data issued by the Research Section of Kashmir Media Service, today, these killings rendered two (2) woman widowed and five (5) children orphaned.

During the period, at least twenty nine (29) persons were injured due to the use of brute force including firing of bullets, pellets and teargas shells by Indian troops and police personnel on mourners and peaceful protesters in the territory. Indian police and paramilitary personnel arrested eighty two (82) people including an aged woman and molested and disgraced three (3) women during five hundred sixty seven (567) cordon and search operations in different areas of the territory. »

Srinagar, July 01 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Coalition of Civil Society (JKCCS) has said that the media continued to face intimidation and harassment by the Indian authorities during the first six months of 2020 in the occupied territory.

The biannual report that covers the period from 1 January to 30 June 2020 says, “In the first six months of 2020, media continued to be at the receiving end of the pressure, intimidation and harassment by the authorities, with several incidents of beating and thrashing of journalists. Besides physical assaults, few Kashmir based journalists were also booked under stringent charges and cases were filed against them.” »

Islamabad, July 01 (KMS): The APHC-AJK staged a protest demonstration outside National Press Club, Islamabad, to denounce the issuance of domicile certificates to Indian nationals by the fascist Modi government in India.

The protest was led by APHC-AJK Secretary Information Shaikh Abdul Mateen. The participants of the protest said that the move was in violation of the resolutions of the UN Security Council.

Speakers on the occasion maintained that India was conspiring to turn the Muslim majority of occupied Kashmir into turn a minority but the Kashmiri people would never allow India to succeed in its nefarious designs. »

Srinagar, July 01 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Youth Social Forum, Umar Aadil Dar, has sought the intervention of the United Nations and the heads of Western and Muslim countries to stop the fresh wave of state terrorism unleashed by the Indian forces in the territory.

Umar Aadil Dar while strongly condemning the innocent killings in Sopore and other areas of the territory said that India continued to institutionally perpetrate violence in Jammu and Kashmir. He said that no Indian armed forces’ personnel, involved in heinous war crimes in the occupied territory, had been prosecuted by its own judicial mechanism. »

Islamabad, July 01 (KMS): Muhammad Farooq Rehmani, Chairman J&K People’s Freedom League and former Convener APHC-AJK chapter has said that there’s no doubt towards escalating and precipitate the demographic invasion over the Muslims of Jammu and Kashmir by India whose enormities seem beyond focus and questioning of the present word order.

New Delhi, July 01 (KMS): Amid the ongoing border tension between China and India following the June 15 humiliation for India, the Indian newspapers and websites have been blocked in China possibly because of unfounded propaganda.

Though Chinese newspapers and websites continue to be accessible in India, people in China can only access the Indian media websites with Virtual Private Network server. VPNs mask internet protocol address so a user’s online actions are virtually untraceable. But China has created such a technologically advanced firewall that it blocks even the VPNs.

The recent action comes amid the ongoing tension between India and China after the killing of at least 20 Indian soldiers and injuries to many during a violent standoff on June 15 in Galwan Valley area in eastern Ladakh. China has refuted that any of its soldier had suffered injuries during the clash. »

Srinagar, July 01 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, delegations of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League visited the residences of martyrs Tariq Ahmad Khan and Nadeem Ahmad in Islamabad and Kulgam districts and expressed solidarity with their families.

One JKPL delegation comprising Arif Ahmad, Yasir Ahmad, Shabbir Ahmad, Zahoor Ahmad Waza, Fayaz Ahmad and Bilal Ahmad visited the residence of resistance activist, Nazir Ahmad Khan, in Lal Chowk area of Islamabad town to express solidarity with him over the killing of his son, Tariq Ahmad, by Indian troops. Another delegation comprising Muhammad Akbar and Riyaz Ahmad visited the family of martyr Nadeem Ahmad in Kulgam. »
