Abdul Hameed Butt in a statement issued in Srinagar, terming the death of Ghulam Nabi Kashmiri a big loss to the party, said that the deceased stood firm against all adversaries and never compromised on his principles. »

Srinagar, July 23 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the family of illegally detained Chairperson of Dukhtaran-e-Millat, Aasiya Andrabi, has said that she and her two associates, Naheeda Nasreen and Fehmeeda Sofi, were shifted to Punishment Ward of New Delhi’s Tihar jail on Tuesday.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Aasiya Andrabi’s younger son, Ahmed Bin Qasim, wrote on twitter, “I woke up to the news that mother and her two aides have been shifted to “Punishment Ward”. The condition of this ward is terrible and the routine is extremely stringent.”

“Mother is almost 60 now. Her aide, Nahida Nasreen, is 54 and battling multiple illnesses. Fehmeeda Sofi is 32 but bedridden. All of them have families,” Ahmed tweeted. »

Srinagar, July 23 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Ittehad-e-Islami Jammu and Kashmir has urged the people to make successful the Friday strike call given by the All Parties Hurriyat Conference against the Indian occupation of Jammu and Kashmir.

The General Secretary of Ittehad-e-Islami Jammu and Kashmir, Muhammad Altaf Salfi, in a statement issued in Srinagar called upon all sections of the Kashmiri society to observe strike and make the next course of action a success. He said that the people of Kashmir would not only reject all the measures taken by the Modi government to change the Muslim majority status of Kashmir into a minority but would also launch a mass movement against the BJP fascist government. »

New Delhi, July 23 (KMS): The United States (US) and India have set up an industry collaboration forum under the Defence Technology and Trade Initiative (DTTI).

The forum will have a standing mechanism for developing and sustaining dialogue between the Indian and the US industry on defence technology and industrial cooperation.

Agreed upon on July 14, it was made public Tuesday night by US Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment, Ellen Lord. She was speaking at the virtual ‘India Ideas Summit’ organised by the US India Business Council.

Islamabad, July 23 (KMS): Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said India’s Hindutva ideology and aggressive policies pose serious threats to peace and stability in the entire region.

Chairing a high-level meeting in Islamabad regarding situation of peace and stability in the region, he said India is targeting civilians by committing ceasefire violations along the Line of Control to cover up its serious human rights violations and internal weaknesses. »

Prague, July 23 (KMS): Czech Republic’s speaker of the parliament, Radek Vondracek, during a meeting with the Pakistan’s Ambassador to Czech Republic, Mohammad Khalid Jamali, said that India and Pakistan should find a peaceful solution for the Kashmir dispute.

Vondracek expressed satisfaction over the diplomatic friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries. »

Muzaffarabad, July 23 (KMS): International media visited Line of Control at Chirikot Sector to interact with victims of Indian continued ceasefire violations and witnessed the situation along LoC.

International media was shown areas in Poonch sector towards Indian side from where Indian troops deliberately target civil population with heavy weapons, mortars in various sectors of LoC against all international conventions. »
