Jammu, July 25 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian police, today, booked Pervaiz Ahmed Sheikh, the President of Anjuman-e-Islamia, Bhaderwah in Doda district under sedition charges.

A case was registered against Pervaiz Ahmed Sheikh at the Bhaderwah Police Station for disobeying the orders of the district magistrate by organising Friday prayers, a police official said. »

Srinagar, July 25 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, prominent human rights defender, Khurram Parvez, has said that the human rights situation has deteriorated in the territory since Modi government’s illegal actions of August 05, last year.

Khurram Parvez in an interview in Srinagar pointed out that all civil and political rights of people completely stand curbed and only those affiliated to the ruling BJP can speak or organize political activity. Others, even if they are pro-India parties, continue to be gagged and that encounters, arrests and torture continue unabated, he said. »

Islamabad, July 25 (KMS): Former India-appointed interlocutor on Kashmir, Radha Kumar, has said that everything has become worse in occupied Kashmir since August 05, 2019.

Narendra Modi-led fascist government in New Delhi had repealed the special status of occupied Kashmir on 5th August, last year, and placed the territory under military siege, which still continues.

Radha Kumar in an interview with Arab News, an English-language daily newspaper published in Saudi Arabia, said, “In this one year, everything has become worse. The alienation is worse, anger is stronger, cynicism is more pronounced and the sense that India wants to quash and humiliate Kashmiris is stronger”. »

The BJP and RSS were hell-bent on dislocating Muslims in Jammu.

Media reports said that on July 18 the Finance and Forest Department demolished houses belonging to the Gujjar and Bakarwal community as a part of the demolition drive to root out people.

The Jammu district administration demolished houses of people, that it claimed, were living illegally in areas like Sidra, Ragoda, Bandi Mohalla, and Lower Dwada. »

Srinagar, July 25 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, APHC leader and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Political Movement (DPM), Khawaja Firdous, said that India has violated the UN resolutions and international law on August 05, last year, when it repealed Kashmir’s special status and divided it into two union territories.

Khawaja Firdous in a statement issued in Srinagar said that on August 5, 2019, the extremist Modi government had repealed Article 370 of the Indian Constitution to justify India’s illegal hold on Kashmir but would never succeed in its nefarious designs. »

Srinagar, July 25 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred two Kashmiri youth in Ranbirgarh area in the outskirts of Srinagar, today.

The troops martyred the youth during a cordon and search operation in the area. The troops have sealed all entry and exit points of the area. The operation continued till last reports came in.

Srinagar, July 25 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian police have arrested a student of Kashmir University in a false case registered against him in 2018.

The police summoned the student for questioning in a case registered at Nigeen Police Station, Srinagar, in 2018 and arrested him.

The detained student was identified as Aaqib Ahmed Malik, a resident of Aglar Pinjora area of Shopian district. »
