Srinagar, July 29 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, posters have appeared in different areas of the territory asking the people to resist India’s wicked plan to change the demographic composition and erase the Muslim identity of the territory.

The posters pasted on the walls, pillars and electricity polls have been issued by Tehreek-e-Warseen-e-Shuhada-e-Jammu and Kashmir.

The posters say that India wants to wipe out the Muslim identity and civilization of occupied Kashmir by settling non-local Hindus in large number in the territory. They say that Hindutva forces are behind this abhorrent game. »

Srinagar, July 29 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops on Wednesday arrested three Kashmiri youth during house raids in Bandipora district.

The youth were arrested after Indian Army, police and paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force jointly launched cordon and search operations in different parts of the district.

A senior police officer while talking to media in Srinagar claimed that the arrested youth were working for mujahideen. He said that detainees identified as Abrar Gulzar, Muhammad Waqar and Muneer Ahmed Sheikh, were arrested from different areas of the district. »

Srinagar, July 29 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference while extending facilitations on the eve of the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Azha has hailed the resolve and determination of the Kashmiri people to continue their unrelenting struggle for the cause of freedom.

The APHC spokesperson in a statement in Srinagar said that the people of Kashmir were observing the third consecutive Eid festival amid severe restrictions and military atrocities since they were under a constant and continued siege imposed by the Indian authorities on August 5, last year.

The statement said that the entire population of occupied Jammu and Kashmir had suffered a lot on all fronts in terms of lives, properties, economy, education and health due to the oppressive measures taken by New Delhi particularly after the abrogation of Article 370 of the Indian Constitution in August last. »

People on Eid should sacrifice their children, instead of animals, says BJP MLA in Uttar PradeshGhaziabad, Uttar Pradesh (India), July 29 (KMS): A BJP leader and Member of Legislative Assembly in Uttar Pradesh has sent a chilling message to the Muslims asking them to sacrifice their children instead of animals on Eid-ul-Azha.

Nand Kishore, the BJP MLA from Loni assembly constituency in Ghaziabad, made these remarks at a time when the international community is pressing for more freedom for minorities in India.

He also claimed that “meat spreads coronavirus” so people should not be allowed to sacrifice animals. »

ImageSrinagar, July 29 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the authorities booked the illegally detained APHC leader and Acting Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League (JKML), Farooq Ahmed Tawheedi, under black law, Public Safety Act (PSA), in north Kashmir’s Sopore town.

The authorities shifted Farooq Ahmed Tawheedi to Kot Bhalwal jail in Jammu after slapping PSA on him. Indian police had arrested him in Srinagar on the 10th of this month and shifted him to a police station in Sopore.

Earlier, the police had arrested Farooq Towheedi’s son, Junaid Ahmed, an engineer, during a house raid in Sopore.

ImageSrinagar, July 29 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Grand Mufti, Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam, has asked the Kashmiri people to take all precautions while sacrificing animals and distributing meat among people on Eid-ul-Azha.

Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam in an interview in Srinagar said, “On Eid-ul-Azha people should take care and maintain social distance, wear face masks, and use hand sanitizers. They should follow all SOPs while sacrificing the animals.”

He said that people should take all precautions while distributing the meat. “The Qurbani should be done in proper and traditional manner as it is important practice in Islam,” he said.

Grand Mufti asked people not to sacrifice animals on roads. “They (animals) are not carriers of disease. The COVID-19 disease is transmitted through humans,” he said. »

Srinagar, July 29 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Tehreek-e-Wahdat-e-Islami, a constituent of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference, has strongly condemned the ongoing repression and colonial measures by the Indian government in the territory.

A spokesman for Tehreek-e-Wahdat-e-Islami in a statement issued in Srinagar expressed grave concern over media reports that the Modi government had decided to confiscate the land and properties of pro-freedom leaders and workers in occupied Jammu and Kashmir and 44 officers have been appointed to carry out task. »

India's search operations disrupt and destroy Kashmiri livesJammu, July 29 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred two Kashmiri youth in Rajouri district.

The troops martyred two youth and injured another during a military operation in Nowshehra area of the district. The operation continued till last reports came in.

Meanwhile, the troops launched a cordon and search operation at Warpora in Sopore area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district. The troops cordoned off the area and launched house-to-house searches.

Islamabad, July 29 (KMS): The All Parties Hurriyat Conference AJK chapter has expressed concern over the attempts being made by India to change the demography of occupied Kashmir, atrocities and arbitrary arrests of Hurriyat leaders, activists and youth in the territory.

The APHC-AJK at a meeting in Islamabad said that the Kashmir dispute had center-staged in the world as a result of unparalleled sacrifices offered by the Kashmiri people for the freedom cause, and the world is pushing for a solution to the issue. The meeting was held under the chair of Convener Mustafa Muhammad Hussain at APHC office in Islamabad. »

Srinagar, July 29 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, authorities informed the Indian Supreme Court, today, that they had decided to release the Kashmir Bar Association President, Mian Abdul Qayoom on the condition that he would not visit Kashmir till August 7 and that he would not issue any statements. His current detention is coming to an end on the day.

Mian Qayoom was arrested by the Indian authorities following the abrogation of Art 370 in August last year and later booked under the black law Public Safety Act (PSA). »
