New Delhi, July 31 (KMS): India has designated 44 new officers to seize land and properties of pro-freedom youth and activists under the black law, Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), in occupied Kashmir.

Reports appearing in the media said that India had decided to take stern action against the Kashmiri people who are directly or indirectly involved in pro-freedom activities. In this regard, the reports said, Indian Home Ministry has decided to take immediate steps for execution of the UAPA, which was passed by the Indian parliament to suppress the freedom struggles.

The reports revealed that the newly designated officers had been tasked with identifying all pro-freedom youth and activists and seizing their properties.

It is to mention here that India’s notorious National Investigating Agency (NIA) has seized a number of properties belonging to Kashmiri Hurriyat leaders and activists in recent years.
