Modi has failed to achieve results in IIOJK

Srinagar, August 02 (KMS): Kashmiris on both sides of the Line of Control and the world over will observe Wednesday, August 5, as Yaum-e-Istehsal to denounce illegal, immoral and unconstitutional step, which India took on this day in 2019 to strip Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir of its special status.

He said the way the Indian rulers manifested brutality by confining the entire population of Kashmir into their houses to fulfill their nefarious agenda and converted the territory into the world’s biggest jail for several months poses an open challenge to the international community. He appealed to the Kashmiris living particularly in Pakistan and abroad to assemble outside Indian embassies in large number across the world on the day and forcefully record their protest against the India’s illegal actions of August 5, last year. »

Srinagar, August 02 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Tehreek-e-Wahdat-e-Islami (TWI), a constituent of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC), has strongly condemned the intensified restrictions imposed by the Indian authorities on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha to prevent Kashmiri Muslims from offering Eid prayers.

The Tehreek-e-Wahdat-e-Islami spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the authorities had deployed a large number of Indian army and police personnel in Srinagar and all other major towns on the day of Eid and closed the roads with barbed wires. He said that Indian authorities had completely deprived Kashmiris of their basic rights including religious rights. »

New Delhi, August 02 (KMS): In yet another shocking anti-Muslim incident in India, a youth was brutally attacked by the followers of Hindutva over mere suspicions that he was transporting meat or beef in his pickup truck in Haryana.

The incident took place in Gurugram city, which is located just next to the Indian capital New Delhi.

The Muslim youth, identified as Lukman, was flagged down by dozens of men, who then proceeded to drag him out of his vehicle and beat him up with a hammer on the middle of a busy road, with police as well as several passers-by just standing and watching. »

Srinagar, August 02 (KMS): To be a Kashmiri Muslim, no matter he or she is pro-India or pro-freedom, provides enough justification for Modi-led fascist Indian government to usurp his or her freedom with former Indian minister Professor Saifuddin Soz being the latest example who has himself acknowledged that he is not a free man and continues to remain under house arrest.

Srinagar, August 02 (KMS): Indian politician and former Indian minister, P Chidambaram, who is currently Member of Rajya Sabha, has said that Jammu and Kashmir is a big jail adding that Modi government has failed to achieve any results of August 5, 2019 actions.

P Chidambaram in an article published, today, referred to the abrogation of Article 370 of the Indian constitution to strip Jammu and Kashmir of its special status said, said, “Project J&K was intended to break up the state, reduce its status to Union territories, bring the territories under the direct rule of New Delhi, suppress political activities, intimidate 7.5 million people of the Kashmir Valley into submission, and quell” freedom struggle. “While the means have been employed, none of the ends has been achieved and, in my view, will never be achieved under the current dispensation’s policy,” he added. »
