APHC AJK leaders call on PM Imran Khan in Muzaffarabad » Kashmir Media Service

Muzaffarabad, August 05 (KMS): APHC AJK leaders Muhammad Hussain Khatib, Ghulam Muhammad Safi, Syed Faiz Naqshbandi, Shamim Shawl, Sheikh Abdul Matin, Ishtiaq Hameed and Nisar Mirza called on Prime Minister Imran Khan in Muzaffarabad today.

On the occasion, Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs Ali Amin Gandapur, Federal Minister for Information Shibli Faraz, Chairman Kashmir Committee Shahriar Afridi and other ministers besides Azad Kashmir President Sardar Masood Khan, Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan and Azad Kashmir Law Assembly Speaker Shah Ghulam Qadir were also present.

APHC leaders briefed Prime Minister Imran Khan on the latest developments in Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir, especially after August 5 last year, the ongoing military siege and sanctions, as well as the serious human rights violations by Indian troops in the occupied territory. The Hurriyat delegation thanked the Prime Minister on behalf of the Kashmiri people for effectively projecting the Kashmir cause at the global level.

On the occasion, Prime Minister Imran Khan hailed the Kashmiris’ on ongoing struggle for freedom and sacrifices. He said that Kashmiris are not alone in their just struggle for their right to self-determination but the Pakistani nation is by their side as Kashmir and Pakistan are inseparable. He said that the unilateral move of the Indian government on August 5 was Modi’s biggest mistake and the Kashmiris’ struggle for independence would soon succeed.
