Islamabad, August 05 (KMS): Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi told media in Islamabad, today, that the UN Security Council held a session on Kashmir in New York, today.

It was the third UN Security Council’s session since India illegally abrogated Article 370 of its constitution and revoked IIOJK’s special status on August 5, 2019.

The Foreign Minister said that the fourteen members of the Security Council discussed the human rights situation of the occupied territory. He emphasised that the discussion on Kashmir showed that it was not an internal matter of India.

The Kashmir watchers have described it as a big development on Kashmir and a success of Pakistan.
