Srinagar, August 09 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, slogan of ‘Kashmir Baney Ga Pakistan’ is the voice of every Kashmiri Muslim as hearts of Kashmiris and Pakistanis throb in unison.

According to an analytical report released by Kashmir Media Service, the people of the occupied territory are happy with the way Pakistan observed the Siege Day on August 5 to express solidarity with the Kashmiri Muslims. The report pointed out that the day fully testified the slogan “We are Pakistanis, Pakistan is ours”, coined by the veteran Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Gillani. »

Strike in IIOJK on Sheik Aziz’s martyrdom day

Srinagar, August 09 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir led by illegally detained Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai has reiterated the Kashmiris’ resolve to fight the challenge to their existence and identity with courage and determination.

The Tehreek-e-Hurriyat in a statement issued in Srinagar announced to observe August 14, Pakistan’s Independence Day as Thanksgiving Day and August 15, India’s Independence as Black Day. The statement maintained that India could not force Tehreek-e-Hurriyat into submission through arrests and intimidation. The statement said that Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Chairman Mohammad Ashraf Sahrai, General Secretary Amir Hamza and other party leaders and activists were being victimized because of their commitment to the freedom cause. »

Jammu, August 09 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the speakers have said that the people of Kashmir will never accept its division on the basis of colour, caste or territory. The event was organized by Imam Hussain (RA) Memorial Trust.

Addressing a public gathering in Kargil, they crtiticised the Modi-led Indian government for repealing the special status of the territory and dividing it into two union territories on August 5, last year. »

Srinagar, August 09 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders Bilal Ahmad Siddiqui, Shabbir Ahmad Dar and Muhammad Iqbal Mir have paid glowing tributes to prominent Hurriyat martyr, Sheikh Abdul Aziz ahead of his martyrdom anniversary.

Sheikh Abdul Aziz was shot dead by Indian troops during 2008 mass agitation against the India’s illegal occupation and economic blockade. »

Srinagar, August 09 (KMS): A 26-year-old Kashmiri youth, identified as Mohammad Kazafi from Kupwara, was arrested by the Panchkula police in India’s Haryana state for uploading a video of a Pakistani leader’s speech about Kashmir on his WhatsApp status.

Mohammad Kazafi was booked under non-bailable Section 153-A of the Indian Penal Code which states that “whoever promotes or attempts to promote disharmony or feelings of enmity, hatred or ill-will between different religious, racial, language or regional groups or castes or communities, shall be punished with imprisonment which may extend to three years, or with fine, or with both.” »

Jammu, August 09 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a personnel of the Indian Air Force committed suicide in Udhampur, Jammu, today.

The Air Force personnel, identified as LAC Shubham Singh Parmar ended his life by shooting himself with his service rifle at Air Force Station, Udhampur.

Reports said that he was on duty at Udhampur Air force Station when he shot himself with his service rifle. He was immediately shifted to Army Hospital, Udhampur, where doctors declared him as brought dead.

This incident raised the number of such deaths among Indian troops and police personnel in occupied Kashmir to 462 since January 2007.

Srinagar, August 09 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act state of state terrorism martyred a youth in Poonch district, today.

The youth was killed by the troops during a cordon and search operation in Mendhar area of the district. Two other youth were injured during the ongoing operation in the area. »

Srinagar, August 09 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Tehreek-e-Wahdat-e-Islami has appreciated the recent steps taken by the Government of Pakistan on Kashmir saying that these would draw more attention of the international community towards the Kashmir dispute.

The spokesman of Tehreek-e-Wahdat-e-Islami in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the launch of a new political map by Pakistan and the move to rename the Kashmir Highway as Srinagar Highway is certainly encouraging for the Kashmiris. »

Srinagar, August 09 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, one year has passed since the Modi-led Indian fascist government repealed Kashmir’s special status and divided it into two union territories, but it has been 12 months without any business and the private sector and tourism are in a shambles.

There is no tourism for the past one year and this year too due to the pandemic, there are no signs of revival.

A KCCI report says that the total losses since 5th August 2019 till date are over Rs 45,000 crore and job losses in a small place like Kashmir amount to 4.54 lakh. »

Islamabad, August 09 (KMS): A meeting of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter was held in Islamabad with Convener, Muhammad Hussain Khateeb in chair, today.

The participants of the meeting reviewed the current situation of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir and paid glowing tributes to senior Hurriyat leader Sheikh Abdul Aziz on his martyrdom anniversary.

It was stated in the meeting that Sheikh Abdul Aziz was a pleader of Jammu and Kashmir’s accession to Pakistan and he had spent his entire life in educating the Kashmiri youth for the liberation movement and endured years of imprisonment for the same ‘crime’. »
