Srinagar, August 13 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has appealed to the people to observe complete shutdown on August 15, the Indian Independence Day.

The APHC spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said that India had no moral right to observe its Independence Day as it had held people and land of Kashmir illegally from last 73 years through military might. »

Srinagar, August 13 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, posters have appeared in different areas of the territory asking people to celebrate August 14, Independence Day of Pakistan as ‘Jashn-e-Azadi’ and observe August 15, India’s Independence Day, as Black Day.

The posters reading “August 14 Thanks-Giving Day”, One Nation, One Slogan, One destination”, “14th August – Independence Day”, “15th August – Black Day, “We are Pakistanis and Pakistan is ours” and ‘We Want Freedom” have been posted on walls, pillars and electricity poles in Srinagar, Badgam, Islamabad, Pulwama and other areas of the territory. »

Srinagar, August 13 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir has condemned the authorities for not allowing the family members of illegally detained party Chairman, Muhammad Ashraf Sahrai, to meet him in Udhampur jail in Jammu.

The Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the authorities did not allow the family members to meet Ashraf Sehrai despite that fact that they fulfilled all the requirements including the report of COVID-19. It termed the action as sheer violation of basic human rights. »

Bengaluru, August 13 (KMS): Prominent human rights watchdog Amnesty International has sought independent and transparent investigation into extrajudicial killing of three labourers by Indian Army in Shopian area of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

The labourers identified as Abrar Gujjar, Imtiyaz Gujjar and Abrar Khan from Rajouri district were killed by Indian Army’s 62 Rashtriya Rifles during a cordon and search operation at Keller Amshipora in Shopian district on July 18, 2020. Indian troops during the operation claimed that the killed persons were “militants”. The families of the labourers said that they had left their homes on 16th July to find work in Kashmir Valley. »

Islamabad, August 13 (KMS): People in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, are all set to celebrate Pakistan’s Independence Day, tomorrow (August 14), as Jashn-e-Azadi Day as they have always been showing their attachment and love for Pakistan by shrouding the bodies of their martyrs in Pakistani flags.

According to a research carried out by Kashmir Media Service, as per the understanding behind the Partition Plan of Indian Subcontinent in 1947, which resulted in the formation of Pakistan and India, Jammu and Kashmir was a natural part of Pakistan. »

Islamabad, August 13 (KMS): Pakistan has conveyed its strong condemnation to the Indian High Commission in Islamabad on the reported incident involving a derogatory social media post against the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) by an extremist from the majority Hindu community in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

A statement issued by the Foreign Office said, the offensive post against Islam has hurt Muslims and reflects the rising Islamophobia and targeting of the minority communities in India.

It said, the Indian police instead of preventing this hate crime against Muslims and Islam, used brute force, killed at least three protesters, and injured many more. As an added injustice, the Muslim community in the area is being falsely framed for alleged vandalism and assault on police personnel, it added. »

Srinagar August 13 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders and organizations have greeted the people and the government of Pakistan on the eve of their Independence Day.

The Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference, Shabbir Ahmad Dar, in a statement in Srinagar greeting the people of Pakistan prayed for the development and prosperity of the country. He said that while Pakistan had always advocated settlement of the Kashmir dispute, India never demonstrated seriousness and good faith for its resolution. He also called for complete shutdown on India’s Independence Day, August 15, and appealed to the people of IIOJK to boycott all functions related to the event.

New York, August 13 (KMS): The US Democratic presidential candidate, Joe Biden has expressed concern over the deteriorating situation in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), saying restrictions on dissent, such as preventing peaceful protests or shutting down the internet, weakens democracy.

In an online meeting, with the head of American-Pakistani Political Action Committee (APPAC), Dr Ijaz Ahmad along with prominent members of the Muslim community, the former vice president urged the Indian government to take all necessary steps to restore rights for all the people of Kashmir. »

Islamabad, August 13 (KMS): Ministry of Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan will launch a tele marathon application to promote Kashmir cause globally.

The app ‘Run for Kashmir’ is expected to be launched by August 14, Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan, Ali Amin Khan Gandapur told media persons after chairing a meeting here.

The initiative is meant to express solidarity with the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) by highlighting the plight of innocent Kashmiris internationally through use of modern technologies, he added. »
