Srinagar, August 17 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Mutahida Majlis-e-Ulema led by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Grand Mufti of Kashmir Nasirul Islam have strongly condemned the blasphemous remarks and warned that such kind of derogatory acts would not be tolerated at any cost.

APHC General Secretary, Molvi Bashir Ahmad in a statement issued Srinagar said that tens of thousands of Kashmiri Muslims were ready to sacrifice their lives to protect honour and dignity of the Prophet (PBUH).

The APHC reiterated its call for complete shutdown in the territory against the blasphemous acts by BJP goons, killing of three lobourers from Rajouri in fake encounter and torture of two Muslim farmers in Reasi in the name of cow vigilante. »

Condemns contemptuous remarks against prophet

Islamabad, August 18 (KMS): An extra-ordinary meeting of the All Parties Hurriyat Confeence Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter was held in Islamabad, today, with Convener, Mustafa Muhammad Hussain in chair.

The participants of the meeting reviewed the current situation of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir and reiterated the Kashmiris’ resolve to continue their struggle for securing right to self-determination. »

Srinagar, August 17 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred two Kashmiri youth in Baramulla district, today.

The youth were killed by the troops during a cordon and search operation jointly launched by Indian Army, Central Reserve Police Force and police in Kreeri area of the north Kashmir’s district. One of the martyred youth has been identified as Anayatullah, a resident of Pattan.

Earlier, two personnel of Indian Central Reserve Police Force and a special police officer of Indian police were killed in an attack in the same area.

Facebook to take on TikTok with LassoSrinagar,August 17:(KMS): A startling revelation has been made in a report of the Wall Street Journal that social media giant Facebook ignores cases of hate speech and objectionable content from leaders and workers of the ruling BJP for fear of antagonising the Modi government in India.

India’s main opposition Congress party has now called for a parliamentary panel to investigate what it has described as favourable treatment by Facebook’s India team towards the governing Hindu extremist party.

On Friday, The Wall Street Journal reported that a senior Facebook executive, who oversaw operations in India, had blocked action against leaders associated with the BJP and other Hindutva groups. Facebook’s top public policy executive in India “opposed applying hate-speech rules” to at least four individuals and groups linked with the BJP despite the fact that they were “flagged internally for promoting or participating in violence.” »

Jammu, August 17:(KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, strong protest demonstrations were held for the second consecutive day, today, in most parts of Jammu region to condemn the blasphemous remarks of a Hindu priest, Satpal Sharma, in Reasi district.

The protests were held in Ramban, Banihal, Doda, Bhaderwah, Kishtwar, Poonch, Rajouri, Reasi and Jammu city where people came out of their houses and raised slogans against the priest who uploaded a video containing blasphemous contents. The protesters said that the priest committed blasphemous act at the behest of ruling Bharatiya Janata in New Delhi.

Hundreds of people on Monday blocked the highway town of Banihal in Ramban district. The protesters demanded action against the priest and others responsible for uploading the derogatory video. All shops and other business establishments were closed in Banihal and adjoining markets. Traffic movement was affected on the highway due to the protest. »

Srinagar, August 17 (KMS): India has stopped investigation of over 10,500 cases of human rights violations against its troops in illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

The authorities in Jammu and Kashmir have halted the investigation in thousands of cases involving human rights violations by the personnel of Indian army and paramilitary forces before the India’s illegal action of August 5, last year.

New Delhi had abolished the Jammu and Kashmir Human Rights Commission on August 5, 2019, after it abrogated Article 370. While over 10,500 cases were lodged with the commission till August, last year; there were at least 2,500 to 2,600 cases which were being heard on daily basis, said Nazir Ahmad Thokar, the former Secretary of the Commission. »

Srinagar, August 17 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Tehreek-e-Wahdat-e-Islami, a constituent of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC), has said that the Kashmiri people, by observing India’s Independence Day as a Black Day, have once again sent a clear message to India that they do not accept its illegal occupation over their land.

The Tehreek-e-Wahdat-e-Islami spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Kashmiri youth celebrated Pakistan’s Independence Day on August 14 in Srinagar and waved Pakistani flags at various places in the city, which was a proof of Kashmiris’ love with Pakistan. »

Srinagar, August 17 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, three Indian forces’ personnel were killed in an attack at a joint patrolling party in Kreeri area of Baramulla district on Monday morning.

Among those who were killed include two Central Reserve Police Force personnel and a Special Police Officer.

A senior police officer while confirming the deaths said that militants fired a volley of bullets at the patrolling party killing two CRPF personnel and an SPO identified as Muzaffar Ahmad. »
