Srinagar, August 26 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Modi-led fascist Indian government has directed the competent authorities to issue domicile certificates to the applicants within five working days.

An amendment to Jammu and Kashmir Grant of Domicile Certificate Procedure Rules, 2020 issued on May 18, 2020 has been made, in this regard. »

New Delhi, August 26 (KMS): Indian police arrested a Kashmiri youth without any reason in New Delhi.

The youth who hails from Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir’s Budgam district was arrested by Central Reserve Police Force on the charge of roaming around Vijay Chowk in New Delhi.

The detained Kashmiri youth identified as Manzoor Ahmed Ahanger was handed over to Delhi police for questioning. He is a resident of Rathsoon, Beerwah area of Budgam district. »

Indian troops use brute force on mourners in Budgam

Srinagar, August 26 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, forceful pro-freedom and anti-India slogans were raised during Muharram processions in different areas of Srinagar.

The Muharram processions were taken out in Gundi Hassibutt, Hassanabad and other areas of Srinagar. The mourners said that India was an occupier and had snatched their political future by the dint of military might. »

New Delhi, August 26 (KMS): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) while rejecting the Gupkar Declaration adopted by pro-India parties including Congress and National Conference in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir has termed supporters of Gupkar Declaration as followers of Pakistan.

Making a scathing attack on the Congress, NC and other local political parties for signing Gupkar Declaration, BJP in its virtual Working Committee meeting termed it an “anti-national agenda”. »

Jammu, August 26 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, various Sikh organizations including J&K Sikh Intellectuals Circle, International Sikh Federation, Sikh Students Federation and J&K Sikh Council have strongly condemned the blasphemous remarks of a Hindu fascist, Satpal Sharma, against the Prophet of Islam (PBUH).

A delegation of these Sikh organizations visited prominent religious and social activists of Muslim community in Jammu and expressed solidarity with them over the remarks of the BJP leader, Satpal Sharma, from Reasi area of Jammu region. The delegation was led by S. Narinder Singh Khalsa. »

Jammu, August 26 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, APHC leader and Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Social Peace Forum, Advocate Devinder Singh Behl, has said that Kashmir is an internationally recognized dispute, which needs to be resolved in accordance with the relevant resolutions of the United Nations.

Devinder Singh Behl in a statement issued in Jammu strongly condemned the issuance of domicile certificates to non-Kashmiris on fast-track basis saying that India under a well-thought-out plan was engaged in changing the demography in Jammu and Kashmir. »

Ankara, August 26 (KMS): Turkey has released a song on Jammu and Kashmir wherein words like ‘massacre’, ‘endless torture’ and ‘death’ come up regularly, which refer to the Indian brutalities in the occupied territory.

The song has been put on YouTube and around four hundred thousand people have watched it since it was uploaded on YouTube a few weeks ago. »

New Delhi, August 26 (KMS): Amid the border row with China, India is expediting work on a strategic 290-km-long road linking Darcha in Himachal Pradesh with Ladakh.

The road is being considered as crucial for movement of the troops and heavy weaponry into the frontier bases of the Ladakh region and is considered to provide a crucial link to the Kargil region.

It will be the 2nd road link to Ladakh after Srinagar-Leh highway. »

Washington, August 26 (KMS): The Washington-based think tank, US Institute of Peace (USIP), has expressed concerns over the Indian government’s decision to annex Jammu and Kashmir, changing the special status into two Union Territories.

In a report, the USIP, a Washington-based think tank funded by the US Congress, highlighted that the decision will “be sorely tested by the disaffection that has intensified among Kashmiris since August 5, 2019″. »

Islamabad, August 26 (KMS): President Dr. Arif Alvi says the isolation of Muslims by the Indian government is a matter of grave concern and it is the responsibility of the world to hold India accountable for the repressive actions against minority groups.
