Srinagar, September 05 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Anjuman Sharie Shian has condemned the authorities for detaining Muharram mourners and booking them under draconian law, Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).

The spokesman of Anjuman Sharie Shian in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the brute force used on the mourners had no justification in today’s dignified world. He said that the mourners were not only beaten up but also slapped with frivolous charges, while dozens were lying in hospitals for the injuries inflicted on them by the Indian police. »

Srinagar, September 05 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, unrelenting military siege imposed by Narendra Modi-led fascist Indian government since August 05, 2019, has made the life a hell for the residents of the territory.

A report released by the Research Section of Kashmir Media Service on the completion of 13 months to the military siege, today, revealed that Indian troops martyred 237 Kashmiris including 5 women during the period. It said that most of the victims were killed by the troops in fake encounters during cordon and search operations in the length and breadth of the territory. »

Islamabad, September 05 (KMS): Saudi Arabia-based Kashmiri scholar, Abdul Majeed Butt, passed away in Riyadh, today, after a protracted illness. He was 66.

Abdul Majeed Butt had been facing respiratory problems, was admitted to a hospital and remained in coma for two months.

The deceased belonged to an educated family of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) and was associated with Jamaat-e-Islami. He had played a leading role in the ongoing Kashmir freedom movement. »

Mohammad Ahsan Untoo in a statement issued in Srinagar deplored that the Indian forces had created an atmosphere of fear, which had wrecked the mental health of millions of Kashmiris, particularly youth. Srinagar, September 05 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Islami Tanzeem-e-Azadi has strongly condemned the re-arrest of party Chairman, Abdul Samad Inqalabi, soon after his release from Srinagar Central Jail on court orders.

Islami Tanzeem-e-Azadi spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the court had ordered the release of Abdul Samad Inqalabi after quashing his illegal detention under the black law Public Safety Act (PSA). However, he said that Inqilabi was re-arrested from the premises of Srinagar Central Jail immediately after his release. »

Srinagar, September 05 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian police have arrested three innocent youth in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

The police arrested the youth identified as Aabid Parvaiz, Javaid Hassan Ittoo and Jan Nissar Khaliq from a check point in Pattan area of the district.

The police labeled the arrested youth as over-ground workers of a mujahid organization. »

New Delhi, September 05 (KMS): Indian Army Chief, General MM Naravane, has admitted that the situation along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh is “delicate and serious”.

Indian Army quoted General MM Naravane at the end of his two-day visit to Ladakh as having said that the Indian Army had undertaken precautionary deployment in some areas.

“The situation along the LAC is tense. We have undertaken precautionary deployment in some areas,” he said. »
