Muzaffarabad, September 06 (KMS): Speakers at a special meeting in Muzaffarabad thanked the political and military leadership of Pakistan for taking a clear stand on the Kashmir dispute.

The meeting was organized by the Pak-Kashmir Solidarity Council on the occasion of the Pakistan’s Defense Day, today. Appreciating the efforts and sacrifices of Pakistan Armed Forces for national defense and Kashmir’s freedom movement, the participants of the meeting said that Pakistan Army is the guarantor to the Kashmir’s freedom. »

Islamabad, September 06 (KMS): Pakistani nation is expressing full solidarity with the people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir while celebrating the Defence Day, today, as the Kashmiris and Pakistanis share strong religious, historical, cultural and geographical bonds with each other.

A report released by Kashmir Media Service in connection with the Defense Day, today, said that on September 6 every year, the Pakistanis remind the world that the Kashmir dispute is the unfinished agenda of Pakistan’s completion and no power on earth can stop Jammu and Kashmir to become a part of the country.

On this day, the people of Pakistan assure their unwavering support to the Kashmiris’ freedom struggle. The day is celebrated in Pakistan and across Jammu and Kashmir to honor the sacrifices rendered by Pakistani soldiers in defending their borders, the report added. »

Srinagar, September 06 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Tehreek-e-Wahdat-e-Islami (TWI), a constituent of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC), has paid glowing tributes to the government, the people and the Armed Forces of Pakistan on Defense Day and prayed for the prosperity and stability of the country.

The Tehreek-e-Wahdat-e-Islami spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Pakistan’s brave forces had proved in the 1965 war that the enemy’s numerical superiority did not matter before the spirit of jihad and faith. »

Srinagar, September 06 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, senior Hurriyat leader, Professor Abdul Ghani Butt and Musadiq Aadil visited the residence of Kashmiri scholar, Abdul Majeed Butt in Sopore, today, to express condolence with his family over his death.

Abdul Ghani Butt speaking on the occasion paid glowing tributes to Abdul Majeed Butt and praised him for his services towards Kashmir liberation movement.

He said that it were the great sacrifices of the people of Kashmir which raised the Kashmir dispute at international level. If world wants and needs peace it has to put pressure on India to resolve the lingering Kashmir dispute according to the wishes of the people of Kashmir, he added. »

Srinagar, September 06 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Voice of Victims (VoV), a Srinagar-based non governmental organisations (NGO), has urged India to implement the recommendations of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).

The VoV Executive Director, Abdul Qadeer Dar in a statement issued in Srinagar emphasized the urgent need to address the past and ongoing human rights violations.

Hailing the report, he said that though the report was an eye opener for international community, but India had never respected the basic human rights in the besieged territory. »

The martyred youth have been identified as Nisar Ahmad Rather from Dadsara village of Tral and Sameer Ahmad Dar from Dogripora village in Pulwama. »

Islamabad, September 06 (KMS): The All Parties Hurriyet Conference Azad Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter has paid glowing tributes to the martyrs of September 6, 1965 saying these martyrs laid their lives for a greater cause and their bravery and courage is part of the glorious chapter of Pakistan’s history.

The APHC-AJK organized a seminar in Islamabad to remember the martyrs on Pakistan’s Defense Day, today. The event was chaired by Mustafa Mohammad Hussain Khateeb.

The speakers on the occasion thanked Pakistan for its moral, political, diplomatic and political support to the Kashmir cause and prayed for the prosperity and stability of Pakistan. They said strong Pakistan is the guarantee to the freedom of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. »

Islamabad, September 06 (KMS): Pakistan’s desire for peace must not be mistaken as weakness, rather as, it is to foster economic well-being and prosperity of the people in the region, said Prime Minister Imran Khan on Sunday in his message to the nation on Defence Day of Pakistan annually observed on September 6.

The Prime Minister also maintained that with the abrogation of Articles 370 and 35-A, India had not only violated the UN Charter but has also unleashed a reign of terror on innocent Kashmiris. »
