The APHC at a meeting headed by its General Secretary APHC Moulvi Bashir Ahmad in Srinagar, today, said that the Kashmiris had been struggling to secure their right to self-determination as India had snatched their land, rights and resources by the dint of military force. Talking to Kashmir Media Service over phone from Srinagar, the analysts and experts, wishing anonymity due to reprisal from the Indian apparatus in IIOJK said, since Kashmir is a long-standing issue on the UN agenda, the World Body is, therefore, morally and legally bound to come forward in a big way to settle it as per its resolutions and the aspirations of the Kashmiri people. »

Srinagar, September 09 (KMS): In Indian Illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, two Indian Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) men were injured after unknown men’ lobbed grenade at Lal Chowk area of Islamabad district on Wednesday evening.

A senior police officer claimed that Mujahideen lobbed a grenade on CRPF party of 40 battalion CRPF in Lal Chowk area of the district, resulting in injuries to two CRPF men. »

New Delhi, September 09 (KMS): In India a Muslim cab driver from Delhi was killed by Hindu extremists while coming home after dropping a passenger in Uttar Pradesh’s Bulandshahr.

His family said that he was made to chant “Jai Shri Ram” before he was killed.

The taxi was found by a police patrol in Greater Noida’s Badalpur, 57 km from Delhi. »

Srinagar, September 09 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the authorities have extended the ban on 4G internet service in all but two districts till September 30.

As per an order issued in Srinagar by Shaleen Kabra, Principal Secretary to Home department of the occupied territory, the ban on 4G internet will remain in force in all districts of the territory except Ganderbal and Udhampur districts.

The authorities had ordered restoration of high speed mobile data services in Ganderbal and Udhampur on trial basis in pursuance of the recommendations by the Special Committee in its meeting dated August 10 for considering calibrated casing of restrictions in limited and “comparatively less sensitive geographical areas”. However, in the rest of the districts, the speed was directed to continue to be restricted to 2G only. »

Srinagar, September 09 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops and police arrested five more youth in Kulgam and Ramban districts.

The troops arrested two youth from a truck near Jawahar Tunnel in Qazigund area of Kulgam district.

The driver of the truck and a person travelling in it were detained, a police officer told media men.

They have been identified as Bilal Ahmed and Shahnwaz Ahmed Mir, both residents of Shopian. »
