Homage paid to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah

Srinagar, September 11 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops continued massive cordon and search operations in different areas of the territory, subjecting the residents to torture and harassment.

The troops continue to carry on their violent operations in different areas of Srinagar, Badgam, Ganderbal, Kupwara, Bandipore, Baramulla, Shopian, Pulwama, Islamabad, Kulgam, Poonch, Kishtwar, Doda, Ramban, Rajouri, Kathua and Samba. The residents of these areas told media that the Indian forces’ personnel barge into the houses, harass the inmates and vandalize the household goods. The troops have also arrested several youth from different areas of the occupied territory during last few days.

Meanwhile, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar paid glowing tributes to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan, on his 72nd death anniversary, today. He said that under the dynamic leadership of Quaid-e-Azam, the Muslims of subcontinent had achieved a separate homeland for themselves on the basis of Two-Nation Theory in August 1947. Illegally detained Chairman of Islami Tanzeem-e-Azadi, Abdul Samad Inqilabi, and Tehreek-e-Wahdat-e-Islami in their statements maintained that Narendra Modi-led fascist Indian government’s 5th August 2019 actions have once again vindicated the Two-Nation Theory. »

Srinagar, September 11 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Students Youth Forum has welcomed Pakistan’s recent policy statement on Kashmir wherein Kashmiris were reassured that the country’s moral, diplomatic and political support to their epic endeavor for right to self-determination would continue.

The Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Students Youth Forum, Manzoor Ahmed Butt, in a statement in Srinagar said it is a highly commendable gesture from Pakistan which surely has reinforced Kashmiris’ hope of achieving their ultimate goal of freedom from the Indian yoke. He said that to express their gratitude, his party activists had swarmed the valley with pro-Pakistan and pro-freedom posters and banners. He said that with the robust support of their Pakistani brethren, he was confident that Kashmiris would succeed in their long drawn struggle for freedom. »

Srinagar, September 11 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference and other Hurriyat organizations have paid glowing tributes to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan, on his 72nd death anniversary, today.

The APHC spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s commitment with the Kashmiri people was unshakeable and Kashmir emotionally remained nearest to his heart till his demise. He said that Quaid-e-Azam had rightly stated that Kashmir is jugular vein of Pakistan and he believed that without Kashmir Pakistan is incomplete. »

Srinagar, September 11 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, two Indian soldiers, including a Major, were injured in a landmine blast in Rajouri district of Jammu region.

The blast took place when a soldier stepped over a landmine during patrolling in Khori Dhaba area of the district along the Line of Control. A Major-rank officer and a Subedar were injured in the incident.

Srinagar, September 11 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, senior APHC leader and the President of Anjuman Sharie Shian, Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi, has strongly condemned the publication of blasphemous sketches in a French magazine and termed it a part of the campaign against Islam and Muslims.

Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi, who is under continued house arrest since August 05, last year, in a statement issued in Srinagar said, these vicious acts are a deliberate attempt to hurt the feelings of Muslims and to create a provocative atmosphere in the Islamic world. »

Islamabad, September 11 (KMS): A seminar was held, today, under the chairmanship of Hurriyat leader, Muhammad Farooq Rehmani, to pay homage to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah on his 72nd death anniversary.

Hurriyat leaders on the occasion said the founder of Pakistan had openly stated that Kashmir is the jugular vein of Pakistan and no nation or country can tolerate the enemy occupying its jugular vein.

They said, Quaid’s statement is a complete manifestation of his intellectual and ideological commitment to Kashmir and the Kashmiri people as well as his deep historical consciousness. The Muslims of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir not only fought but also liberated a large part of the territory from occupation of Dogra and Indian forces. »

Islamabad, September 11 (KMS): The President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Sardar Masood Khan, has deplored that due to UN’s indifference to the Kashmir dispute India has crossed the last line of anti-Muslim sentiment in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, addressing a reception hosted by the Chairman of Jammu Kashmir Salvation Movement, Altaf Ahmed Butt, in the honour of newly-elected office-bearers of the National Press Club, Islamabad, the AJK President said that over eight hundred thousand Indian troops could not dampen the spirit of freedom of unarmed Kashmiris. “Kashmiris are the brave and courageous people of the world who have left India’s night’s sleep desolate. The bravery with which the unarmed Kashmiris have chewed up the Indian Army in the face of modern weapons is unparalleled in the history of the world,” he said. »

Washington, September 11 (KMS): India’s Ambassador to the United Nations, T S Tirumurti  has asked the UN Security Council to take off  the “outdated agenda item” of the “India-Pakistan question”, from the Council.

Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United Nations Munir Akram responded, “Indian representatives are either deluding themselves, or deluding their public, by asserting that they will remove Kashmir from the Security Council’s agenda.”

“Indian indulgence into coercive diplomacy has no future. It cannot override the express commitments of permanent and non-permanent members of UN Security Council.” Dr Syed Nazir Gilani, President, Jammu and Kashmir Council for Human Rights. »

Islamabad, September 11 (KMS): The Convener of AJK chapter of Mirwaiz-led Hurriyat forum, Syed Faiz Naqshbandi, has condemned the continued illegal detention of Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and demanded his immediate release.

Syed Faiz Naqshbandi in a statement in Islamabad deplored that Mirwaiz Umar Farooq had been under house arrest since August 05, 2019 when the Modi-led Indian government abrogated Kashmir’s special status and imposed military siege and communication blackout in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. »
