Moosvi condemns blasphemous sketches in French magazine

Srinagar, September 11 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, senior APHC leader and the President of Anjuman Sharie Shian, Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi, has strongly condemned the publication of blasphemous sketches in a French magazine and termed it a part of the campaign against Islam and Muslims.

Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi, who is under continued house arrest since August 05, last year, in a statement issued in Srinagar said, these vicious acts are a deliberate attempt to hurt the feelings of Muslims and to create a provocative atmosphere in the Islamic world.

“These anti-Islamic elements are always trying to hurt the sentiment of Muslims,” he said, adding that love and affection with the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) is a fundamental part of the religion and faith of Muslims and any heinous act of blasphemy is not tolerable for Muslims at all.

Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi recalled that when such insulting sketches were first published in France many years ago, there was a strong reaction all over the world and many Muslims had sacrificed their lives. He said once again blasphemous sketches have been published which is condemnable.

Meanwhile, the Anjuman Sharie Shian protested at various places in the valley during the Friday congregation against the publication of sacrilegious sketches.
