Srinagar, September 13 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Indian Army has launched massive military operations in large areas of South Kashmir and has arrested more than a dozen Kashmiri youth during the operations.

In many places, Kashmiris came out of their houses, today, and held protest demonstrations against the CASOs and arrests.

In Mendhar, Poonch, the Indian army arrested a father and his daughter.

In the meanwhile, search operations were underway in several areas including Vatnar, Kokarnag, in Islamabad district. The Indian forces cordoned off Gujjar Colony in Watnad area of Kokranag and are conducting house-to-house searches. The operation continued in the area till the last report came in. »

Srinagar, September 13 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a massive protest was held against the vandalizing of a graveyard by a Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) leader in Gandarbal district.

The BJP leader Ghulam Qadir, flanked by his guards, appeared in Kichpara village of Kangan and tried to forcibly make a path in the middle of a local graveyard. Qadir had also brought a JCB machine to create a pathway to his land through the graveyard.

The villagers strongly resented the move of the BJP leader and staged a massive protest. Chanting anti-BJP slogans, the protesters said they won’t allow the hooliganism and misuse of power by the BJP leader to grab the graveyard. »

Srinagar, September 13 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, an Indian soldier’s brother has gone missing from Dooru area of Islamabad district.

Twenty-one years old Yasir Ahmad Wani left his home on Tuesday around 10am and since then his whereabouts are unknown, family said. Before leaving, Wani left his cell phone at his home.

“My brother left home for some work but didn’t return since then,” Wani’s brother Saqib Ahmad said. »

New Delhi, September 13 (KMS): China has mobilised thousands of soldiers, tanks and howitzers within rifle range of Indian army deployment at Spanggur Gap in the southern part of Pangong Tso in eastern Ladakh, Indian media reported.

The Chinese People’s Liberation Army has deployed military in Spanggur Gap, which is between Gurung Hill and Magar Hill, from August 30 after Indian soldiers moved in to occupy tactical heights on the ridge line on the southern bank of Pangong Tso near Chushul at the Line of Actual Control (LAC). »

Islamabad, September 13 (KMS): The Acting Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (JKDFP), Mahmood Ahmed Saghar has expressed grave concern over the deteriorating health of illegally detained senior Hurriyat leader and party Chairman, Shabbir Ahmed Shah and demanded his immediate release.

Shabbir Ahmad Shah has been languishing in infamous Tihar jail in New Delhi for last four years.

Mahmood Ahmad Sagar in a statement issued in Islamabad said that according to reliable reports, Shabbir Ahmad Shah is seriously ill and has become very weak physically. He said that Shabbir Ahmad Shah was already suffering from various ailments and the jail authorities were not providing him proper medical facilities. »

Srinagar, September 13 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Tehreek-e-Wahdat-e-Islami (TWI), a constituent of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC), has expressed grave concern over the growing Indian atrocities on innocent Kashmiris.

The Tehreek-e-Wahdat-e-Islami said this during a meeting held at its central office in Budgam. The Vice Chairman of the organization, Wajid Ali, chaired the meeting. »

New Delhi, September 13 (KMS): Veteran Indian politician and lawyer Shanti Bhushan has said that the people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir must be given the right to self-determination to decide their political future.

Shanti Bhushan along with his son Prashant Bhushan in a TV interview in New Delhi drawing credence from the UK referendum for Brexit and said, “They have permitted referendum in the UK even if they secede”. He suggested that the right to self-determination must be given to the Kashmiris even if they want to secede from India. »
