Srinagar, September 14 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, as part of Narendra Modi-led fascist Indian government’s nefarious plan to Hinduise Jammu and Kashmir in shortest possible period of time, it has started executing the decision to build around 50,000 temples in the territory.

In the name of rebuilding dilapidated temples, the Indian government has identified several historic mosques and monasteries where it is going to build the said temples. As per the notorious modus operandi of the RSS-BJP nexus, the Indian government has claimed that these mosques were built at the site of ancient Hindu worship places. The regime is using a special segment of Kashmiri Pandits to carry out the wicked plan.

Srinagar, September 14 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, people are witnessing unspeakable atrocities as barbarism of Indian forces is at its peak in the territory.

An analytical report released by Kashmir Media Service in the wake of surge in military operations in length and breadth of the occupied territory says that India is using torture in a systematic and institutional manner.

Mass killings, enforced disappearances, torture and arrests have increased manifold against the Kashmiris since August 5, last year, it added. The report said that since 5 August 2019 till first week of September 2020, Indian troops killed 237 innocent Kashmiris including 18 in custody. »

Islamabad, September 14 (KMS): Distinguished Labour Party British Member Parliament (MP) Andrew Gwynne while emphasizing the need for re-educating people across the world including UK citizens on the Kashmir dispute has maintained that the dispute needs an international focus.

The participants of an international high echelon webinar held in Islamabad have made it clear the future of Kashmir cannot be determined by India unilaterally. The international lawmakers from EU and UK have affirmed the right of the Kashmiri people as principal stakeholders of the dispute. »

Srinagar, September 14 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the family members of a missing scholar staged a protest demonstration demanding a fair probe into the disappearance of Hilal Ahmed Dar.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Hilal Ahmed Dar from Bemina area of Srinagar, who was pursuing PhD, went missing on June 14 during a trekking expedition to high altitude Naranag in the Ganderbal district. While his four other friends returned home the same evening, Dar did not. The family said that Dar was an honest, dedicated and a responsible person.

Police had claimed that Dar has joined militancy, a claim vehemently refuted by the family. The family members emerged in Press Enclave Srinagar on Sunday and staged a peaceful protest, demanding a probe by a neutral agency into the missing incident. »

Islamabad, September 14 (KMS): Foreign Office summoned a senior Indian diplomat on Monday and registered Pakistan’s strong protest over ceasefire violations by the Indian forces along the Line of Control last night.

In a statement, Foreign Office Spokesperson, Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri said three innocent civilians were seriously injured in the indiscriminate and unprovoked firing by the Indian occupation forces in Hotspring Sector of the LoC. »

Srinagar, September 14 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the illegally detained Chairman of Islami Tanzeem-e-Azadi, Abdul Samad Inqalabi has started a hunger strike in Bandipora jail.

The spokesman of Islami Tanzeem-e-Azadi in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the family of Abdul Samad Inqalabi, while providing written information to the media in Srinagar, said that Samad Inqalabi was on hunger strike against his illegal detention in Bandipora jail.

He added that due to non-provision of medical facilities in the jail, the health of Abdul Samad Inqilabi had deteriorated to a critical level. He expressed grave concern over his declining health and said that the jail authorities were not shifting Samad Inqilabi to hospital for treatment. »

Islamabad, September 14 (KMS): A condolence meeting was held in Islamabad with Convener of Azad Jammu and Kashmir chapter of Mirwaiz-led Hurriyat forum, Syed Faiz Naqshbandi in chair, today.

The participants of the meeting expressed profound grief and sorrow over the death of the grandmother of Mirwiaz Umar Farooq.

Srinagar, September 14 (KMS):  In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Political Movement, a constituent of the All-Parties Hurriyat Conference, has made it clear to India that a solution to the Kashmir dispute lies implementation of the UN resolutions.

DPM General Secretary Pir Hilal Ahmed in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Kashmiri people had given immense sacrifices to take the Kashmir freedom movement to its logical end.

He said the day is not far when Kashmir will be free from the clutches of India and Kashmiri people will see the dawn of freedom. He said that India had occupied Kashmir by force and it New Delhi should not forget that the freedom struggle of the Kashmiri people could not be suppressed at the gunpoint. »

Srinagar, September 14 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the activists of Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) held protest demonstrations across the territory, today, against the fascist policies of Modi-led Indian government in the territory.

The demonstrators shouted slogans against the BJP government. They also condemned charge-sheet filed against the party General Secretary, Sitaram Yechury and other leaders by Delhi police and ongoing restrictions on 4G mobile internet in the occupied territory. »

Delhi violence: Former JNU student leader Umar Khalid arrested under UAPANew Delhi, September 14 (KMS): Former Jawaharlal Nehru University student leader Umar Khalid was arrested late on Sunday night on the fake charge of being involved in Delhi riots.

Umar Khalid was questioned by the Delhi Police Crime Branch for a couple of hours on September 2 in connection with the riots. He was earlier booked under the draconian law, Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) in another case related to the riots. He was also quizzed by the Special Cell of the Delhi Police earlier regarding an alleged conspiracy behind the riots.

His mobile phone was also seized by the police. »
