Clashes erupted in Srinagar against killings
Srinagar, September 17 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred four Kashmiris including a 45-year-old woman in Srinagar city, today.
The troops killed the youth and the woman during a cordon and search operation in Batamaloo area of the city. The operation continued till last reports came in.
The killing triggered anti-India protests in many areas of Srinagar. As news of the deaths spread, hundreds of residents took to the streets, throwing stones at Indian troops who fired teargas and metal pellets.
Angry residents shouted slogans, such as “Long live Pakistan” and “We want freedom” and clashed with Indian troops in Srinagar city.
Earlier, two troops of Indian Central Reserve Police Force including a Deputy Commandant were injured in an attack in the area.
