New Delhi, September 20: Indian Minister of State for Home G Kishan Reddy informed the Lok Sabha, the lower house of Indian parliament, on Sunday that as many as 1.679 million people have been given domicile certificates in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, so far.

Jeddah, September 20 (KMS): The Independent Permanent Human Rights Commission of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC-IPHRC) has strongly condemned the extrajudicial killing of three innocent Kashmiri labourers by Indian troops in Shopian district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir on July 18.

The OIC-IPHRC in a twitter message said, “Admission of this heinous act [by Indian forces] reinforces IPHRC’s repeated concerns on intensity & frequency of such crimes committed by Indian forces in IIOJK with impunity under (draconian law) Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA) supported by the [Indian] State apparatus under the Hindutva ideology and widely condemned by UN, OHCHR and OIC.” »

Srinagar, September 20 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, in order to speed up the process of issuing domicile certificates, the authorities have now given permission to a Naib Tehsildar in addition to Tehsidar to grant such certificates in the territory.

This has been done by introducing amendment in the Grant of Domicile Certificate (Procedure) Rules, 2020.

In this regard, an official spokesman said, the amendment in Rule 5, Clause 1 authorizes both Tehsildar and Naib Tehsildar for issuing the domicile certificate to Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) holders and their children, while naming Deputy Commissioner as the appellate authority. »

Srinagar, September 20 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a delegation comprising Hurriyat leaders Shabbir Ahmad Dar and Muhammad Yousuf Naqash visited the residence of martyr Irfan Ahmad Dar in Sopre to express solidarity with the bereaved family over the death of their son in police custody.

The IPP Vice Chairman, Syed Mushtaq Hussain in a statement issued in Islamabad said, the killing of innocent Kashmiris in fake encounters by India has become order of the day in IIOJK. “The Shopian tragedy is a fresh and living proof of India’s brutality,” he said and added that the international community should break the silence over the crimes of India against the Kashmiris. He said that such tragedies have happened many times at the hands of India. »

Srinagar, September 20 (KMS): The Indian state is scared of Shias’ growing support for the resistance, and has responded so brutally to the young Shia expressing pro-freedom slogans during Muharram processions in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Al Jazeera reported.

While discussing reasons why Shias are now becoming more and more visible within the Kashmiri self-determination and freedom struggle, the TV said, “social media exposed Shia youths in Kashmir to a wide variety of views and narratives on the situation in their homeland and increasing [Indian] state repression accelerated their politicisation.” »

Srinagar, September 20 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, an Indian army porter slipped to death north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

The porter slipped from a hill top in Machil area of the district. He was associated with the army’s 45 RR unit stationed in the area.

After the incident, the porter was taken to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
