Srinagar, September 21 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has said that Indian forces are carrying out genocide of the Kashmiris under the guise of siege and search operations.

APHC General Secretary Moulvi Bashir Ahmad in a statement issued in Srinagar on the occasion of World Peace Day, today, said the killing of three labourers by Indian troops in a fake encounter in Shopian on July 18 was the latest example of how Indian troops were involved in killing innocent youth after dubbing them as foreign militants. »

Srinagar, September 21 (KMS): The world is observing International Day of Peace, today, but the peace is something quite unknown to the people in Indian illegally occupied Jammu who are facing the worst state terrorism let loose by India in the territory for the past several decades.

A report released by Kashmir Media Service in connection with the day, also known as World Peace Day, cites the killing of three Kashmiri labourers by Indian troops during a fake encounter in Shopian on July 18, this year and says that such incidents in IIOJK mock celebration of International Day of Peace, worldwide.

The report also mentions the findings of an Indian journalist, Ajit Anjum, who said that had the parents of three fake encounter victims — Imtiaz Ahmad, Abrar Ahmad and Muhammad Abrar, not taken up the issue and had the social media not raised the voice for the innocent youth, the matter would have been hushed up. Ajit Anjum further said that innocent people were killed in such fake encounters in the past as well.

The report maintained that 21 September is dedicated to the global peace, but the same continues to elude South Asia for the past more than seven decades due to the free license enjoyed by India to carry out massacre of the Kashmiri people with impunity. »

September 21 (KMS): OIC Contact Group on Jammu and Kashmir has asked the United Nations to call on New Delhi to halt the human rights violations in Indian Illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

At its informal meeting in New York, the Contact Group said India should also be impressed upon to implement the UN Security Council resolutions, which call for a plebiscite to enable the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir to exercise their right to self-determination.

The members of the contact group voiced deep concerns at the continued violations by India of the fundamental human rights in occupied territory. »

Srinagar, September 21 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops launched cordon and search operations in Srinagar and several other areas of the territory.

The operations were launched by the troops after an attack on a patrolling party of Indian paramilitary forces in Nowgam area of Srinagar district.

However, no loss of life or injury was reported in the attack. The whole area has been cordoned by the troops. »

UN urged to convene session to pave way for implementation of its resolutions on Kashmir

Islamabad, September 21 (KMS): The All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter has said that the people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir have been deprived of their birthright to self-determination despite the passage of several decades.

Jhelum, September 21 (KMS): The Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir and the International Forum for Justice and Human Rights organized a “Freedom, Justice and Peace rally” at Hatian Bala in Jhelum on the occasion of World Peace Day, today.

Hundreds of people participated in the rally who also marched towards Chakoti on Srinagar Road, chanting high-pitched slogans in favour of liberation of Kashmir and martyrs of Kashmir. Srinagar, September 21 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, senior Hurriyat leader Ghulam Muhammad Khan Sopori has strongly condemned the prolonged and illegal detention of Kashmiri political prisoners.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Ghulam Muhammad Khan Sopori in a statement issued in Srinagar said that India had tightened the noose around peaceful political activists in the occupied territory under a well-hatched conspiracy. The Hurriyat leader pointed out that these Indian tactics could backfire and the situation might be out of anyone’s control. He said that Indian policy makers and rulers should not forget that New Delhi’s aggressive policies had cultivated an atmosphere of discontent and displeasure not only in Jammu and Kashmir but in entire South Asia. »
