Many rumours were making rounds about the earthquake in many areas. Some people said that it was not an earthquake but a blast. While others said the tremors followed a loud explosion.

Srinagar, September 22 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred a youth in Badgam district.

The youth was killed by the troops during a cordon and search operation, jointly launched by Indian Army, Central Reserve Police Force and police in Charar-e-Sharief area of the district. A house was also destroyed by the troops. The killing triggered anti-India protests in the area. Earlier, an Indian soldier was critically injured in an attack in the same area. »

Srinagar, September 22 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a delegation of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat-e-Jammu and Kashmir visited the residence of a martyred Kashmiri woman in Batamaloo, Srinagar, to express solidarity with her bereaved family. She was recently martyred by Indian troops during a cordon and search operation in the area.

The delegation said on the occasion that for the past 30 years in general and last one year in particular, Hurriyet activists, especially those associated with Tehreek-e-Hurriyat, are being victimized by the brtual Indian forces in the territory. »

Srinagar, September 22 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, International Forum for Justice and Human Rights Chairman Muhammad Ahsan Untoo while expressing anguish over the apathy of Kotbhalwal jail authorities towards seriously ill Kashmiri political detainees has hinted at approaching International Court of Justice and UN Special Rappoteur on Prisoners for an immediate action.

Srinagar, September 22 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Kashmir Editors Guild has expressed anguish and pain over the brutal manhandling of journalist Aaqib Javed by Indian police, managing a cyber cell in Srinagar.

Aaqib, an accredited journalist, had been summoned over a story that was published by an on-line news portal in Delhi.
